Obviously, you did, and maybe people would have had a different thought about the whole thing. Still, anyway, it is nice you realize the situation now, maybe if someone who has used their services vouches for them here, it could be nice. I think that this is a great idea, if we can get a few reputable members in this forum that has used their services before, it would be pleasant to hear from them how their experience was, if keychainx is as effective in recovering lost asset as they claimed, because when looking at review, some people may be  saying different things, even though the positive things are greater, you will still be skeptical about it, but if you are hearing of the experience of a few reputable members of this forum when they tried to use their services, you will be certain that you are making the right decision if you have a job at hand that you know they are capable off, but as for now, their is no 100% guarantee that they can do it and their is also no assurance that your asset is safe with them, so they needs to do more in building trust and confidence between them and their clients.

I read in their medium article about the wallets they can recover, the list is long and I think you can check it. In that article they also explained some wallets they cannot recover such as stolen funds or so because they funds would have been moved from one wallet to the other.

Funny enough, for you to test their service, you must have to have forgotten and lost the access to your wallet and in recent time, no one wants to intentionally throw away the access to their wallet simply because they want to try out a recovery service without no backup.
These work might get tiring for them if they don’t do or spend more on building reputation and publicity because that’s the two major things they need to be able to scale through in the industry.

Exactly my concern with this scheme from keychainX because I know that recovery of lost wallet is done with past phrases so I honestly was wondering how recovery can be done without seed phrase. And if it's possible what are the modalities put in place already that can guarantee swift recovery of this lost wallet

Even though they do retrieve Defi wallets, there are still different types and also what is required to retrieved the wallet also matters a lot.
A person might not have access to his full seed phrases, maybe due to poor storage material used to save the seed phrases. Water, oil, or physical damages can be a reason for partial availability for what is needed to recover the wallet.

There is no way you can retrieved a wallet without the seed phrase unless it's a custodian wallet that is owned be an exchange.
It's only the exchange that have the private key of the wallet and what you are limited to is the password they allowed you to create so you can access the wallet. I don't think there is any way someone will tell me that he can retrieved a wallet through the public keep only. Maybe in the future, that can be done by Quantum computers.

No one is to be trusted in the digital space not when scam is becoming a norm and I’ve read some comments where people were  advised to stay very careful while dealing with cases like because so they don’t end up getting scammed more while trying to recover their losses and i am curious to know the mode of payment for these service because personally i will not be comfortable paying for a service im not certain will be able to truly recover my wallet and i think for them to gain the needed trust, then payment should only be from the recover funds and i think they said a 20% fee is what they charge, then it should be from the funds they will recover else scammer will steal the show from them and make their work even more difficult for them.

One can always work with this firm or organization as you cal them if there is clarity and certainty, if not then there is no point so my simple demand is a complete and total breakdown of how this process of recovery can be done and what is required.

A while lot times people even me I have lost wallet that has been laying low for some years now which if there is conviction that yes this wallet can actually be recovered then why not I will jump at it without hesitations.

I know there are other people also in this category who will appreciate getting back there lost asset . So let there be certainty and conviction then its not a bad idea at all
