So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. If you know any either in an online or offline casino please dont hesitate to share their story, you can include the name of the site they made their wins, i am sure someone would be encouraged. I don’t know anyone who won big in gambling, especially millions of money because I’m just a small time player and never experience to hang-out with the rich kids. I know a small time gambler who always win, and a great gamer who won on many tournament with a huge bets, but hopefully to know someone who have an experience to become a millionaire in gambling, maybe its fun to talk with them.

I have some friends who gamble regularly but in small amounts and know a lot of gamblers in general.Until now I have not seen anyone which is a successful gambler.I have not seen anyone making a living from gambling activities because that is some criteria to be classified as a successful gambler.

I have been reading about many successful gamblers who made names in Poker but I have not met them yet. I have been very busy in my own jobs and hardly find time to meet these people but I want to meet them because you get to learn so many things from them and the way they made it to the top really inspires you to work every waking hour.

I have a neighbor who won a lottery, friends who won a one-time jackpot, etc., and they move on with their life, with their winning prize, of course, without any problem. I consider these stories a success.

I wouldn't call that success but a stroke of luck. A successful gambler is someone who is able to predict the outcome of a match for example based on the info he has.

Except for sports betting, is it possible to predict the outcome? Casino games like dice, roulette, hi-lo, etc., are pure luck-based games IMO. I consider them success because humans tend to be greedy and have a biased expectation about luck. They could gamble again and lost, but they get out and continue with their happy life.

However, I agree for sports betting, with the correct analysis and a bit of luck, you can be successful.

  Many people are addicted in gambling, because they found this site as liable outcome that gives profits according on investments. Somehow, we have an individual acknowledgement on success, evading from loses and luck is the one of the most aspect we can called thrive. I only hear people who got success in this site, but not meet them.

Games like dice, roulette, hi-lo and other can't be predicted, that is true, but if your mind works in mysterious ways you could have an edge in poker of blackjack for example. Counting cards and memorising them would give you an edge over the opponents or the House.

       The real success in gambling is enjoyment of oneself, the most  important is you have the money to take the bet then if you win is a bonus, that's why you always feel happy of winning small or big.

it depends, really. Not everyone that found on self-enjoyment as you, probably.  You know, sometimes you see a penny on the floor - it is basically a small win, and you will not bother to bend over, because it is too low.

Usually a gambler would not keep track of his record, he win some and lose some, that's the real thing in gambling.
Maybe we will noticed he is a successful gambler if he keeps winning everytime or most of the time, but that's really rate in gambling.

I had a neighbor who did gamble regularly. He did the lottery very often and finally on a lucky day, he can win a large amount of money. The best thing about him is, he then used the money he got to start a new business and fortunately, he can live with it. He gradually stopped his gambling habit and focused on his new business until now.

Maybe you should have best started the story with I have a very lucky neighbor LOL. He is such a lucky and a smart gambler. Imagine him starting up a business and deviated from gambling when others would put that same money back into the   gambling

I have never met anyone personally but I read of a lot of successful gamblers, recently a story was shared on the forum about a guy who played on Primedice and won 51BTCs and proofs where shown to back this up and I have really been motivated to keep on gambling ever since and happily I am improving by the dat. I have been making some interesting wins of recent but I can't say that I am a successful gambler yet.

My mother in law goes to casinos almost every year, she just has a group of friends and because they are a bunch of people it is cheaper for them to get a flight booking plus hotel booking and since they gamble there it costs them very small for all of the regular vacation stuff.

She goes there, sits on the slots all day and "gambles" all day with about 200 bucks and usually wins money or has break even. This doesn't mean she is a successful gambler but the woman literally managed to have one week vacation every year for the past 20 years for almost no money at all to a place that has super entertaining stuff from gambling to famous people singing to great food and even free drinks on the house which I consider as a win.

If you want super successful people they are already famous and you saw them on your google search, all the small ones are the ones like my mother in law.

Haven't met with any of the successful gamblers, here the success is determined most of the time with like. However we make strategies, only the luck decides whether we need to get success or not. Recently primedice celebrated its 6th year and in that one of the user shared his experience of winning 400btc playing 0.5btc as the initial value. Finally he took 150btc at last which is truly a big win and he in my view is a successful gambler where what he won gets important.

It can be a victory and defeat that doesn't mean much to them if they are within reasonable limits, of course they won't count a lot about what they get and what they spend because it's a little complicated thinking too much, so that's just their way playing with fun without thinking more about things that can be detrimental, not everyone will succeed in gambling back to their people and success in other fields is the real thing.

I knew several very successful esports gamblers online back when I was actively betting on esports matches, especially with CS:GO- several had earnings over 10BTC, though I haven't talked with any of them in a while. I've never been nearly as successful gambling or betting, though I'm overall in the green with CS:GO betting.

I haven't met any gamblers nearly as successful in real life, though I do know some people that have dug themselves into a deep pit from gambling.

Unfortunately, I haven't met one and I'd like to meet one, some of them are high profile individual and it's hard to befriend these people as long as you have contact among his peers, these high rollers are well guarded go check the casinos in your city and you will see what I mean.

I have not yet ever met a "Successful" Gambler in my whole like all was I met was a "broke" gambler. Since I don't believe in gambling that much because I have once a family of gblers I never seen them successful but I seen them winning sometimes. I can't called their winning as their success since when they go again in the next day to play they will lose it again. Success is not just one day or one week but success is lifetime.

Lol this kind of question. First of all. I'm starting with online,  I haven't met anyone online that claims to be rich and playing my gambling, maybe rich men don't play gambling online I guess, or maybe they don't have time to be discussing online like we do,  they just play on a low-key? Then as for offline,  I haven't seen a single gambler that is successful, majority of them I know are very useless and they are very addicted to gambling. That is one reason why I don't really put all my mind in gambling,  I just play it for fun. Those who take it serious don't achieve anything.

I was keeping records of my stock market trades while I was winning, when I started to lose my gains I just stopped keeping records! lol I suppose something similar is happening to gambler, they prefer to NOT KNOW how much they're losing.

Also, My opinion to the thread's question is that, when it comes to pure luck games, the amount of successful people should be MAXIMUM around 40% to 45%... but none of the people I know are gambling.

I think when you are motivated to gamble and win by looking and following a successful gambler on social media, these sought of questions comes to mind and its pretty okay to ask such questions. I think in sports gambling, I would love to meet Bill Center who is the richest gambler currently in the gambling industry with $200 million worth.

I never met personally gambler winners but I saw them how they hit the jackpot on dice gambling before. It was on PD before one of my friends there who accidentally hit the jackpot and I think that was a huge amount. I know that was not successful because for me that is a coincidence and for sure he never does it again. But at least I witnessed the time that he won at that time that makes me motivated too in gambling.

In real life I do not met any successful gambler. The main reason for this is that I hardly go to any physical casino and most of the time i spend online on gambling. I do happen to come across few gamblers who did won some decent amount from gambling through online chatting. Sometimes i wish that i may be lucky too to win some big amount of money through betting & gambling games.
