Not sure who to call as successful gambler but I know some people who won huge amount on gambling and also knows that they spend those huge rewards in very less time period and didn't got any change in their life.Moral is easy money will not stay with us too long.

Truth be told, I haven't encountered any single person that I can consider successful in gambling. If you ask the opposite, I bet there will be a long list for this. But sometimes how you identify success matters here. Is it about money or emotional impact to that person? If we gauge success in terms of money, only few individuals attained such success on this part but emotional well-being, might have bigger number.

we can identify the people who won huge amount of money from gambling but we didn't care about how many people losing their money while gambling so money is not the thing we can make from as regular person but we may get some other benefits while gambling.

Its easier to pay attention to those who win than those who loose because we know that winning is a rare thing in gambling and loosing has become a norm especially to the high class gambling losers that has now referred to gambling as a form of entertainment.

It’s so ridiculous how people spend their daily hard earned income on a game to enrich its owners all in the name of pleasure, I would rather go on a date with my girlfriend with that money than put it into a casino site after all its all Fun. I gamble but I do it for money and I try all the available tactics to winning. I DISLIKE IT WHEN THERE IS A LOSS BECAUSE I don’t envisage for that to ever happen.

I don’t think gambling for fun is a bad idea, it doesn’t mean anyone is making any site rich, as long as the gambler is happy and is playing with knowledge, that is the most important  thing anyway. There is absolutely nothing wrong if gambling was played as a career and gamblers playing with all diligence. Gambling has been around and has been a means of people making money for centuries in different forms.

So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. Actually I have seen a few people that become rich through gambling. But 90% of them I know that are into gambling are all losers and addicts. Just few that I know that were so lucky and got huge winnings from gambling that changed their life completely. One thing I don't like about some people that gamble is their inability have control over themselves, a lot of them let's gambling control them and that's how they end up useless in life. We should accept that there are people who became millionaire just by gambling but it happens once in million or billion which should be realized by every gambler to play for fun not for money but there are chances as well to make money through gambling but its not a source of income.

It is true though, the possibility of a skill-based game is higher than luck-based game but still, it is gambling. I've watched a lot of professionals going to each other and they still lost. Even professionals lost and that comes down to maybe their sponsors or where they put their money. You can say someone is rich but you can't say if that is because of gambling since there are people that don't really spend their money gambling but also in investments especially if we are talking about a professional gambler.

I think if you are playing on a house edge game there is no way you can be successful.

How can a person be a successful gambler? I know one person who won a lot from sportsbetting if that counts and sportsbetting is not pvp like poker or something so it should count. Dude played on 3 games that all seemed impossible, like he played on 3 teams that were destined to lose those games for sure and he bet on them anyway (I think this was on the world cup before the last one, so not the one France won but previous one) and not only he bet that the worse team will win but he bet something like draw on first half as well (I think it was either draw or better team ahead on first half).

So, it was even more impossible yet he won those games, I remember watching the first two games, me and my friends were playing fifa and didn't care about him because it was obvious he would lose but all of us stopped and watched the last game like crazy.

He bet like 10 bucks and made more than 5 thousand as far as I remember (amount could be different it wasn't dollars so I am exchanging from my mind how much dollar worth at that time).
