Who created Bitcoin, and why?
No one knows really, who created it. Why, because people is getting need it with globalization! The creator of Bitcoin is officially a name, “Satoshi Nakamoto” – very few people believe that it was a single male from Japan.
It is just a rumour or expectation from him because his (if he is) name. But it may be the diversion! So remember that. No one really knows that who Satoshi is. Let him go!

There are lots of theories about the real Satoshi. Some personalities who wants drama also pretends to be him and even trying to steal his identity, people who only wants publicity. Satoshi have contributed a lot in blockchain industry and I think it would be too disrespectful if we'll dig deeper about his personal life which he chose to keep in private. He wants privacy and he's doing it for a purpose so we must stop spreading rumors about him.

Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudo name to cover who the real creator is, and since the name sounds or similar to Japanese name many thinks Satoshi originates from Japan. Up to this day, nobody knows who really created bitcoin and I think this will remain as a mystery for a long-time, or maybe forever. There had been a lot of claim to satoshi's creation, but a lot failed to provide proof. I guess it's best to remain that way since Satoshi really intends to remain anonymous leaving no proof of his real identity.

This claim is as old as Satoshi Nakamoto! I have been hearing this since I added cryptos in my life. It literally never made sense to me through, until recently! I was shocked to see Craig Wright awarded copyright to the bitcoin whitepaper and the code and now I somewhat believe that bitcoin is indeed created by NSA which conspiracy theorists are talking since day one! May be, we all are part of a big plan which is yet to be unfolded but everything is really dicey now! Also the article says, Soon after these stories were published, authorities in Australia raided the home of Mr Wright. The Australian Taxation Office said the raid was linked to a long-running investigation into tax payments rather than Bitcoin. Everything is very confusing now! No one know who owns what or who is Satoshi Nakamoto. It's the biggest mystery of this decade!

For me this theory also doesn't make much sense. Nsa (National Security Agency) is well known by spying and having data collected from millions of people around the world, including presidents, prime ministers. Why would they create bitcoin, as it gives more autonomy and privacy? It would difficult their job, right?
And the theory becomes even worse after quoting a thought that bitcoin is a Cia's plan to finance terrorism. I think you really have to hate Usa to believe in such story.

There is no way we could really find the real creator of Bitcoin, Just imagine Satoshi manage to create this thing to work with so many complicated information don't you think Satoshi couldn't erase all the things that could unmask his/her identity?

Well, some new theories about creation of Bitcoin will always appear. Bitcoin is still kind of mistery for many so they like speculations about its creation.and the creator. I believe Satoshi is the one who created Bitcoin but I don't think that the true identity of Satoshi will ever be revealed. But that is fine with me and I understand why he/she wants to stay anonimous. I would do the same.

Bitcoin was created by a Japanese mathematician not by the NSA. The name of this Japanese mathematician is Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto had a team of approx 3 mathematicians that helped him. I could say that when he created the Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto was in Japan not in the USA.

ah, the old "NSA created bitcoin as a one-world currency" story. the article isn't worth reading (it's from 2017 btw) but it all boils down to this idea that there's some back door in the code that still hasn't been found, after a decade of cryptographers and coders pouring over bitcoin's code. sounds pretty unlikely. governments want digital money (as opposed to cash) but bitcoin is definitely not what they had in mind.

I believe that the real Satoshi Nakamoto was a group of people who work in one project called blockchain, and they create bitcoin for the first cryptocurrency. There will be many people who will claims that they are the real Satoshi Nakamoto, but they cannot prove if they are the real. Satoshi Nakamoto still hiding in some place and still work on the other project (maybe) because we never know what he/they do until now. The claims of Satoshi Nakamoto will always be a trend because people want to get popular by doing that. Let's us make this as a mystery and let time will tell who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto.

I can't really understand why people seem to be so desperate to know who Satoshi is (as previously mentioned if he is even a "he" and not a "she" or a "they").. will this information really change a thing?

I am not denying these facts! And after Craig was awarded the copyright of bitcoin whitepaper by an US court, these have started to take shape towards a different way altogether. I am sure a lot more drama is waiting to be unfolded in near future and we haven't yet seen the bottom. If it's finally proved that bitcoin was created by NSA, majority of the other governments will try to shut it down in their own country and implement punitive measures against the users. That's what I am worried about!

~ after a decade of cryptographers and coders pouring over bitcoin's code. ~
it is not a "decade", it is 34 years for the elliptic curve cryptography (from 1985 for ECDSA) and 18 years for the hash function used in bitcoin (from 2001 for SHA256). bitcoin is just built on top of these and there is no "bitcoin code" there is only "Bitcoin protocol".

Or maybe we can just turn to Craig Wright and then believe everything he is claiming to be true, we can even worship him under his own feet. Of course, I am just kidding. There will always be a great interest as to who and what is Satoshi Nakamoto. I think until there can be someone who show up and can move the many bitcoin addresses Satoshi owned then this mystery will likely deepen and we can hear so many conflicting and intriguing theories and guesses as to the whereabouts of the man who created blockchain and bitcoin for us. As to the theory that somehow the government is involved here, I think that can be so easy to debunked as it is a very old theory and only a few seriously believe on that.

In my opinion, to search for the real creator of Bitcoin no longer makes any sense. For some reason, he wanted to remain anonymous and that is his right. Ten years have passed since then, and if during this time he has not shown himself, he will never do it again. So in cryptocurrency it will be one of the biggest mysteries. Arguing on this topic will always push their versions as well. Up to the point that he came from the future. However, this will not change anything.

Satoshi Nakamoto is not actually the real name, it's just an alias. Which means he has a real name but chooses to hide under Satoshi to birth bitcoin, so the new trend now is: if one wants to be famous or popular, he just claim he's Satoshi or he writes that he knows him and all attention will be shifted to him. It's a secret that may never be unraveled but just a continues guesswork.

And after Craig was awarded the copyright of bitcoin whitepaper by an US court
"Awarded" implies it was verified to be true. It wasn't. Copyright registrations are not vetted. Literally, anyone could have registered it. https://www.copyright.gov/press-media-info/press-updates.html?loclr=twcopCopyright Office does not investigate the truth of any statement made...Copyright Office does not investigate whether there is a provable connection between the claimant and the pseudonymous author.

In my opinion I would say nobody will ever know who he is and even if people are claiming it was created by the united states government they have no proof of this either. I think it is just best not to know who the creator of bitcoin was because then they would be a threat to one government or another and then they would more then likely to end the threat to their countries financial system.
