Hi,

Can anyone give me some advice please?

At 07:00 this morning half of my S9's went off line. they were flashing red LED. I repowered them up and none of them will communicate they just default to a solid green light.

Any ideas please?

What firmware are you using and how many pools do you have programmed in?   Have you tried going to a different pool or at least a different URL of the same pool if that is an option?

What do you mean by communicate? are you able to access them through the web interface?  if yes , then you should post all details needed, follow this guide > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133468.0 on how to report your issue - simply to increase your chances of getting a solution.

I would also support Hockeybum's point,  if more than 1 gear stopped simultaneously then it's very likely an internet/pool issue, especially if the other working miners use a different pool then rest assure it's the pool issue.

Do you know how to hard reset the miner? If not do this first before you touch anything from your miner.

You can follow this procedure below.

First, run the miner for 5 minutes then hold the IPreporter/reset button for 15 to 20 seconds.
Now it should reboot automatically then check the miner again.

If it still not work can you can try accessing those miner if you have access find the kernel logs under system and post it here so that we can analyze if what is the problem of your miner but if it still not work try to flash it through a recovery program

It is definitely an issue with the pool or internet, if the miners are booting back up to solid green. Try pinging the pool URL from the Network tab to see if you can connect.

I would try a different pool or different DNS server and see what happens.

Ignore scammers on Skype, Telegram, etc. I will only ever contact you via forum PMs. See profile for fingerprint.
