Ten years after bitcoin was launched, we should have known by now if Satoshi Nakamoto had a telegram group. I have only seen email communications and then this forum.

Almost all crypto projects has either a telegram group or channel to communicate to its members and the community. Just wanted to know if Satoshi Nakamoto had either of a group or channel. Or Bitcointalk forum was the only community channel that existed among Bitcoiners?

Of course there is not any telegram group or channel created by Satoshi Nakamoto.
If you find one, you have find also a scammer in only one hit!

Definitely. He doesn't spend time and effort to create such telegram groups. And if ever you'll search the telegram, their are so many satoshi's name and groups appearing on it. He's a deep person and he wasn't active on bitcointalk forum, what more on telegram channels?

Not aware about that email communications though. Do you have link so we can also read some of it? Until now, no one actually knew what Satoshi is up to.

Maybe not, he is a genius person he knows what would happen if he did that, total chaos or even worst. If you see the date when telegram was created it was before bitcoin was founded. So it should be available that time and yet he did not. As of now moderators on this forum is having a hard time controlling the crowd and other problems regarding the bitcoin community and it's users, just think about if it is on telegram, million of users chatting every second, how would they even manage to answer questions?

Crypto community is found of Telegram group, and every other exchange has there telegram group but that doesn't mean Satoshi has invented. Telegram is a communication media and data spreading channel that has invented later of Bitcoin.

Satoshi was so busy with Bitcoin so I think he doesn't have time to make his own Telegram channel. The telegram was also created years after the creation of Bitcoin so I don't think Satoshi would trust this channel that fast.
There are also scammers who are trying to pretend as Satoshi on Telegram so if you're trying to find him there, you should be careful.

Everyone should be aware of this, Satoshi does not have a telegram and he will not open one now, there's no need to do that since he wants full anonymity on all his actions, if ever he will just log in on his account here, if he wants to communicate with us, something an impostor cannot do like Craig Wright.

If Satoshi has a telegram group that means we don't have to bother or argue about his existence. He has eliminated the traces of Bitcoin from April 2011. After the famous and high-value Bitcoin, there appeared a person who claimed to be 'Satoshi' even though we know he was not the person.

I don't think you will find one. There are a lot of telegram channel among which almost all are fake.

The real Satoshi can create now, it was not existing when he is still active, the possibility of him created a new group is there is he wants to finally come out, maybe he will log in here and post his telegram channel and will invite few possibly the pioneerS in Bitcoin, I would love to see this happen one day.

So that's it. According to my research, Telegram came into existence around August 2013 so definitely Satoshi Nakamoto could not use one but come to think of it...would he use Telegram if it was already operating back in 2008 or 2009? Maybe yes or maybe no. IRC was very popular years ago and of course we already have the email option in communication so these were two good channels for him.
Satoshi would use any encrypted service that really takes care of security and Telegram is one such service and if it was active during his time he will use that service, he would have used IRC with TOR enabled and if he used to chat in that, he made sure he was secure with his communication and the E mail service he used to communicate was Anonymous Speech and GMX as far as i remember.
@OP the answer is clear, since Telegram was created well after his online presence he never had a Telegram group.

Now we've got more social networking and communication purpose applications which isn't much available during those days of bitcoin into existence. By that days our forum served to be a platform for communication, discussion about the innovation. Later he went anonymous, maybe if he have kept bitcoin under his control he could have created Telegram.

Telegram wasn't even used back then and people were using things like Instant Messenger.  There is still a section under profile info for AIM, MSN, and YIM but most people moved over to telegram and discord now.

Just as so many discussants has stated, telegram was not in existence as at when Satoshi Nakamoto began his work on bitcoin. He must have used other media to get his words out there. That being said, telegram has become a very vital social media platform for building strong communities for project. Hence if telegram was available at that time, Satoshi Nakamoto would have made use of the channel.

Well, way back 2009 We all know that telegram by that time is not exist, and besides since then Satoshi Nakamoto is also unknown
even up to the present, And according to the history of Bitcoin Mr. Nakamoto created only bitcoin through blockchain technology
and nothing else.

Sathoshi wanted to remain anonymous, so I don't think he ever created a telegram group for discussions. And during that time too, telegram was not very popular like it is these days, hence it is only the forum that is used for communication.

Instead of asking this question you could quickly make a search on google and find out if Telegram actually existed back then because it was initially released in 2013,a long time after bitcoin was launched. I wasn't very active online back in 2009 and I don't know what apps they used back them for communicating in groups but I guess there was something similar to telegram.

Why is it important to know if Satoshi created a telegram group or channel discussion? If ever you did find one, more than likely they are scammers pretending to be Satoshi.

Exactly, he wanted to be anonymous so not really a wise move if he created a discussion channel for his creation. Come to think of it!

There were too many messaging apps back then . few to name are ym , ebuddy , skype , nimbuzz , irc , etc....

I believe that satoshi n.  Did also use one of the apps that i listed above because those apps are too useful for comunicating  . he might have a team and they are working together for the creation of bitcoin  .

I don't know why I'm laughing right now but... Telegram exist in 2013 but satoshi didn't create a telegram group but much better than than and much flexible. He created this forum so we can gather around all the telegrams you've seen today are just new since it's one of the easy way to create a community and gather in it.
