This is the 12th list published by the CCID. Of the listed currencies, EOS still leads every of them to be no. 1.

Honestly, we don't know about how accurate this content and I will never try to believe this chart. EOS placed on the number one of platform but there was no a lot of demands and especially for TRON. These platforms are leading the popularity in the china only but ethereum is still leading the world wide ranking as the popular smartcontract platform.
TRON placed on the number 2 caused by Justin was shilling it anytime and that's my guess.

When you say there no demand for EOS

That's a chart from CCID (China Center for Information Industry Development) which mean this only applies in China, not for the whole world. Anyway, EOS is very popular because of the dapps, have like a hundred even thousand kinds of dapps, from entertainment to gambling purpose. So was TRX.

I would be very suspicious of anything "official" the chinese government releases.
Having lived there for five years, I can tell you that they mostly release "official" stuff to benefit themselves.

A simple example, when hong kong was hit by SARS, people in the mainland started panicking.
The Chinese governemnt released an "official" scientific study that showed that black vinegar can sanitize against SARS.
In fact, the report included a very specific brand that worked the "best".
Well, people went nuts and bought it up like crazy.
Turns out that black vinegar does nothing to protect against a deadly virus but the stock of that vinegar brand shot up.
Of course, most of the top ranking communist party officials were large stakeholders in that company.

So when I see a list from the chinese government of the "best" cryptos, I see it as just a shill list to line their pockets more.

Ethereum's popularity seems to be fading in China when eos and tron come to rival it. Although the three coins are famous for their Dapps, they are very tight competition in China. But I don't know why EOS holds the highest rating, after many people said there was no market demand for it.

What's the point of having a different website when you can get the indexing from CMC itself.
I don't see real valuable content on this website.
