Forget about the mining section unless you  are a long term miner with a six figure investment. Every mining beginners thread I have posted there has been deleted. I think we need a mining sub-board in the beginners section, and moderation should be given to one of the mods with an interest in expanding Bitcoin Talk, rather than preserving a closed club

The problem is that new Users who have joind Crypto lately cant see or know the Difference for what the mining section is !
There are still some Devs or Users there are posting there ANN s in there , for what i think there are 2 reasons for , 1 The dont know where to post realy , 2 they just post it there and expect they can get more miners for there coin with that.
And otheres post there Masternode mining things into the Mining section too, dont know if it would be good to get a Masternodes sections too so we have some kind of structure for mining things related and all.
And yeb i guess a mining sub board on the Beginners section would good for newbies as long they dont use it for advert there new coming Coins and things , but would be helpful !

Maybe your threads were not upto the standards of the board's expectations?

We don't need to. We can't create separate boards for every section that expects users to have some sort of previous knowledge. It's not that hard to just google for the answer most of the times.

Mining btc mod Frodo works hard and long for bullshit crap posts.

I think at times he is too zealous but I support him as modding is not easy work.

I thought you had a legit interest in how to get newer gear.

So the first post should have stayed. The second post was a nice pleasant polite post.

Frodo has deleted more then a dozen of my pleasant nice talking with you posts.

He has edit many posts of mine. But I do post quite a bit.

If you want to get newer gear I can receive your pm and steer you towards it.
It is not easy with the rise in btc to 8400 plus.

I would not have deleted post one.

Post two I liked but many mods will delete a pleasant post.

Without a lot of content. Especially if you have a signature.

Mining section sometimes can really be so strict as most of the people posting their really have a high knowledge of how things are currently working and basically in my own opinion they considered your post as a low quality one and does not contribute to their discussion.

As for the first one maybe their are already good details posted before you that already have answered your question.

Same goes to the second one you are asking something that may already have an answer that you should explore. (For me the second one really just make no sense)

So if you aren't gonna be posting a techy stuffs right there you just gonna stay and watch until you will be able to create a useful one (based on their standards) because if the Mods alone is responsible for that you have to meet his standards else if users have reported your post then also make sure to meet their standards.


Edit: Note that even philip which is a good contributor the mining boards have been facing some edits or even deleted post that just means that the mods their is really up on the highest standards as possible.

Frodo does a lot of work.  At times I can be  annoyed when he edits or deletes me.  But he does a lot,of,good work.  The op has a legit question as finding new gear right now is hard to do.
