Is it fine to have an alt and use it in different campaign?

If I declare that I own an alt account and use it in a different signature campaign, will it be ethical?
Just curious about it, since many people get tagged over it.But what if they declare their alts beforehand?Will they still get tagged?

Noone gets tagged for having an alt account. Tags come into play when users enroll their alt accounts in the same campaign. Essentially cheating a signature campaign, twitter,  and sometimes bounty campaigns.

You also have to read the rules of a campaign. Most bounties may not care if you use multiple accounts. Long as the rules say it's ok, you should be good to go.

It's totally legal to have alt accounts, even some staff have alt accounts. Just don't abuse the system with them. Don't start conversations back and forth in a thread between your accounts. Don't merit your accounts.

I don’t think you would be tagged solely for this. If you disclose it, don’t spam or try to abuse (e.g by trying to join the same campaign when that’s not allowed), I don’t think there would be any major issues.

IIRC, hilariousandco (a Global Mod) was once part of two campaigns (on his two accounts) at the same time.

Good to clear that up, thanks. So alt accounts can be used to organize information for more than one blockchain project and some other legit  purposes.
