A better question might have been remain over 1 USD by the end of 2014.  Dogs has too many coins, no way it will do it this year or ever.  Other two seem problematic as well.  I like Huntercoin, it's got a built in game, but not sure much else will be developed for it.  I'd like Verticoin to make it or darkcoin since it seems truly innovative.

When you're comparing coins, it's better to use their market capitalizations instead of prices, since their total amount of coins vary.
For example, one 42Coin(total of 42 coins) is worth about $27000 and it's not very popular, while one Dogecoin(total of 100 billion coins) is worth about $0.00087 and its popularity is booming. Hoping for DOGE to reach $1 is quite surreal.
I'd rather ask “Which altcoins will break $100,000,000 market cap in 2014?”.

I believe due to fair distribution of Coin2 (C2) and early acceptance with different cryptocurrency exchanges, in 3-6months time the value of C2 will surpass $3-$4 per C2 due to its scarsity.
