Is this what you were talking about? https://www.goldcoin.org/fork_faq.html
IMO this is most likely a scam. There is no such thing as "Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork (RBH)"
I think the motivation of this GoldCoin is to merge its holders' UTXO with Bitcoin holders' UTXO. I bet GoldCoin has significantly more circulating supply than Bitcoin that will render the airdrop holder (from Bitcoin) practically insignificant.

NO, we are getting tired of mining coins. There could be 1 or 2 bitcoin forks in the top 100 list by marketcap but over the time, POS and other tokens would replace most of the mineable coins from the list. If we look closely at the list of last year and this year, there are lesser mineable coins at the moment.

First time I read about this Reverse Hard Forking and not supporting this, so many hard forks going on,  and I'm 100% sure that it will not generate support, there's no information either on who are the people behind it, I read that you have to import your private key to claim,

It's a big no to me and people will likely treat it as another scam .

No, i think we have enough hard forks and we should focus to old altcoins with history and invest there, because already most if them grow in time and who buy early could get a nice profit.

That's correct mate, sorry I missed the "how to claim."
Please be very careful guys! Don't import your private keys (or wallet.dat) to claim this shady coins, except you know what you are doing (experienced user).
The scam indication is strong. I would suggest you to stay away.

No I think this is not possible. Because all we know that there is so many altcoin so it is not impossible to happened. When it will happened I think this will be a big and clear scam. Don't compare the backward intergation of the company out of crypto because it is not applicable here in digital world. This is very mess idea.

Taking into account that 99% of bitcoin forks fall into oblivion in a very short time due to the fact that those forks are useless coins and nobody is really interested in them, it's clear that the answer is no. In fact, it's strange that there still are forks showing up.

Lol, that is not possible in anyway, it is not a must to fork the Bitcoin blockchain before you can create something new. For example, the Bitcoin blockchain is built on POW and your goal is to create a POS coin, why do one need to fork the bitcoin blockchain when it is possible to fork a coin that already has the POS algorithm in it's code (pivx), so what you are saying doesn't really make sense and it's never happening evening years to come.

This isn't a scam. A group of old-school Bitcoin developers is hard forking the BTC blockchain to increase the blocksize. But unlike BCH, we're keeping Lightning. The Goldcoin UTXO set import is the cost of acquiring the brand.

I've written a short Medium article that explains it: https://medium.com/@microguy/the-reverse-bitcoin-hardfork-explained-e723cb9b09f2

Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork (RBH) Sounds new to our hears, well what is new we have seen so many so-called hard-forked by popular coins, that offer nothing to the table but the free airdrop, we are in a mess because of the so many hard-forked not only on Bitcoin but some of the top coins as well like Ethereum.

first of all it is NOT a bitcoin hard fork and should not be referred to as such. the best way to describe these altcoins is "poor copies of bitcoin" because that is what they are doing, they create a worthless and poor copy of bitcoin and change trivial things without giving it any thought.
for example in this case, this new altcoin is copying bitcoin and increasing its block size which is silly because something that is not used doesn't need to have bigger space.

to answer your main question, no because this "copy bitcoin and create a shitcoin" hype is temporary and as we can see the more they did it in the past 2 years the faster their token failed and disappeared. not to mention that people no longer pay them any attention anymore.

No, quite the opposite - the forks of bitcoin will eventually crash and disappear, leaving the one and only bitcoin alive and flourishing. I also expect an ecosystem of alts having their own niches, such as EOS, ADA, MIOTA, ETH, and some others.

Nah, makes no sense. We've hundreds of alt coins right now, are they all Bitcoin forks?

Its possible that most of the coins on the top are going to be bitcoin forks, BCH, BSV, BTCgold, BTCP, BTCN, BTCZ, BTCZ, BTC2 and BTCRED. All these does have  BTC prefix, almost the same concept only the last letters made the difference. Not all of them are on the top yet but given the time, those who doesn't have information about them will consider buying all these without the knowledge whether they are the real BTC.

It will be the next shitscam coin and forget it and it's a complete garbage coin. As far as know most of altcoins already become the fork that generated from the bitcoin source code. I hope you can try to read the whole history of bitcoin.
It's already happened don't take any rumour about bitcoin fork seriously, because that's just another garbage coin.

It's annoying that people are still investing in shitcoins like bitcoin sv and bitcoingold. They serve no purpose and encourages more shitcoins to be created, hopefully they will die out eventually

Bitcoin hard forks are primarily used to improve the current bitcoin. This new hard fork, called reverse bitcoin hard fork, is designed to put bitcoin in mainstream. Again all hard forks are good as they are presented, but do not perform well as put into reality. This is the reason why they are sometimes called nkn-sense fork.

No way pal, there is no way all altcoins will become bitcoin fork. We have many coins and token in the market and very few of them are just bitcoin fork. Mind you that ethereum has it's own fork as well other coins which have has forks. The market is full of different protocols that is different from bitcoin so your assertion is wrong.
