We released a new Test-Wallet for us, which enable users to store NFT's locally at the moment. Once our Server side development is finished, the NFT's will be going live on the Network.

Some words from our DEV:

What's available for users? The ability to create and store NFTs locally, we just need to finish the networking sides then everyone can upload their NFTs. Will be creating accounts for NFTs, artist/user accounts, so that if a user posts something explicit on network galleries, the user can be banned from the NFT network through a consensus of other users (artist or not). We also updated the overall security of the chain to scan for the inputs of every block. This is a security feature, that BTC or most other altcoins (including ETH) lack. It's to protect against a new attack vector that we discovered a few weeks ago, that doesn't care about the size of a network's consensus.

Beside that, we are developing our KONJ mobile app (Big thanks to M1chl) for android and ios including a highly secure messenger, and the possibility to stake coins... more about that soon...

DEVELOPER NEWS!

NFT stored on the KONJUNGATE Chain soon!!


Got some good news coming up for the next update. Next update will be published approximately 48-72 hours from time of this announcement for beta testing, after 24 hours if beta testing, we'll upload it for public download. This update will:
-Enable NFT access and creation on the wallet.
-Sidechain creation and management on the wallet.
-Updated checkpoints.
-And an overhauled dark GUI (will be turned into the light theme, for those of us who aren't vampires).
With the launch also being paired with the opening of the NFT bot to most, if not all artists. Bot is paired with the wallet, so what you make on the discord will appear on the wallet as data, and what you make in the wallet, will appear here in the Discord.

Here's a brief update on our progress.
A) LevelDB is no longer a dependency, it was swapped for SQLite. We changed this DB out first to create a groundwork for the BerkeleyDB swap to SQLite.
B) We're in the debugging phase of the BerkeleyDB swap, so pretty soon we should have a beta wallet for everyone to try out. We'll also try to have it launch alongside the auto-updater that way people don't have to go to the Discord to know that there's been a new update.
C) We're resolving the issues SouthXchange are experiencing, by widening some protocols. This was due to some checks being activated retroactively.

We'll have the release on the new branch of the GitHub.

We also completed the NFT voting system while we were working on this, and we're drafting documents up on how to mint NFTs on our Discord. These NFTs will carry over to all future wallets.

Please contact one of us to become a beta tester. We'll need as wide of a pool as we can get, especially because we're swapping the DBs.

Here is a short update about our development and what you can aspect in the near future.

1.) DEV have been doing some upgrades like getting KONJ to compile on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS which broke things for most projects, also updated for OpenSSL 3.0 and the ability to easily build a Qt for Linux as well. There will be a wallet update shortly. Please keep your eyes open for the upcoming announcement.

2.) We will be part of the UUNIGATE community which enable cross-chain solutions for all participating projects. Check out there website (under development) here:  https://uunigate.com/

3.) Once we have all the stuff together our members will be able to create/store (green) NFT's ON the KONJ chain. We are also planing to enable the creation of NFTs on our artist plattform https://wendy.network/ (more than 1k artist have a profile there already)

Right now, we get added to the UUNIGATE https://uunigate.com/ fractal gateway, witch enables NFT s and Smart Contracts ON the KONJUNGATE chain. After this we will get a new wallet release including all of this nice stuff.
MASTERNODE holders will be store our data of NFT's and Smart Contracts in the next step and get rewarded for that.
So it is maybe not a bad idea to get one. (NO INVESTMENT ADVICE)

Our DEV is working on the updates for our NFT bot and the integration of KONJ into the Uunigate platform. Soon we will open the system for public beta that people can start minting there NFTs on our chain! Stay tuned guys!
