You are right holding bitcoin is the best among other cryptocurrencies many have predicted great things about the future of bitcoin but in at that we must all bear in mind it risk which is it an unpredictable investment. |

I believe bitcoin may have news for this new year, is bringing us high expectations, maybe the case of 2017 can be repeated. maybe with this low that had during 2018 and 2019 can rise rapidly, at the beginning of 2018 the high was very fast.

.People now questioning what happened to btc. Its really inspiring now that bitcoin is leading to a hopeful situation because its not going up it stays to 10k.We beleivers of bicoin believes that it will rise soon. Its just waiting for a good timing.l beleive the market price will increase soon.. |

My experience with Bitcoin includes 2 use cases. The first one is trading and price speculation. The second one is to support the altcoin economy. The second use case is somewhat surprising. Altcoins are converted back/forth through BTC. I believe Bitcoin and altcoins have mutually beneficial relationship. I think recent price slump has something to do with altcoins. They are not performing as expected. That leaves Bitcoin a lonely king. Traders are closing their books.
Short-term, I don't see change in situation. There're really very few altcoins that have any success. So the entire market may be heading into another winter.
Long-term, I think it's positive. Crypto space needs to go back and do real work. Pumping and dumping will not make crypto the next big thing. We need to make it usable by normal people.

I agree with you bitcoin is still profitable investment, even the price of btc is not rising very high we should not worried about on it because it is a long term investment if we just hold it and wait for sure we can able to earn a good amount of money. |

Any other explanations as to what's causing this BTC upsurge?
Everything in this market is speculative and none are concrete so if you are seeking for exact answers then you find nothing in return so better bear with the flow Bitcoin starts to grow as I think bull ihas come from that date and in April the run started and we can see that on chart from April to July when we almost hit the $14k value in which pretty high since February of 2018 . Bitcoin has said to repeat its history and I think the same thing is just happening. The same thing happened last 2017 so I believe that the same case could happen this year. Btc is increasing and people are hoping for a better value. This year could be a year of Btc.
If we read history, then almost every year bitcoin continues to increase. I'm not really sure that this year's Bitcoin can reach prices like 2017. In my opinion the price of bitcoin will reach $ 15,000 or more by 2020. Let's hope that bitcoin can continue to increase in 2020 and investors return there. |

there is hype in market and also a need to get invlove by pushing the market in one way or the other as there is a way much better things like store of value and way it volatile but sure it dump so hard and everyone believe it will pump even if it has to dump first and doing so is very way high that contribute to large turnout from investors and the market jump.

It's going to be hard from now on to keep an uptrend that can be sustained. People will already be wary if btc hits about 10k. Not all btc holders have the resolve or the means to keep their btcs for a long time. Like now when btc is tradinf below 8k. Many have already jumped ship once again and sold. It's going to be a slow drag to get back to where most of us want to be. |

BTC is going up because IT HAS TO GO UP. People are starting to believe in it as more than a way of storing value. Like the article says, there are more and more apps out there making it easier for people to use BTC.

Too bad the bitcoin price is falling down at the moment perhaps it is the market correction to stabilize the bitcoin price eventually. I can only assume, but maybe this volatility's due to the fact that there are too many 'extra' people as someone noticed. Nobody can predict the future of BTC price with enough accuracy - there are only assumptions like in that article, (or attempts to analyze which strategy of buying/selling is better - like in here) but maybe learning more theory about BTC by its past will fill some gaps. |

Therefore, it’s better to buy Bitcoin gradually, I’m buying Bitcoin when there is free money. I try to do this at least once a month. But I also buy Ethereum, because this coin is growing in trading volumes every day. You can do this every time you have spare money that you are willing to forget for a while. The situations with volatile market like this is really hard to predict, you need to have a lot of patience to survive inside this market, the guide to succession is your presence of mind and dedications to enhance your skills. More knowledge about the market the better chance to keep investing your money for long term goals. |
