IOTA biggest hype was in late 2017. From this date IOTA team made a good progress in a technical development. Many new partnerships were been announced. But still the price is on the lowest numbers, I guess that people are more careful about altcoin investments.

Ok, i see so many people talking about sh**coins with no background, but this revolutionary coin supported by its own Foundation is so much underrated imho

IOTA also had problems in 2017-2018. Was it an error, an exploit or a hack, I don't remember now and I've never followed IOTA very closely, although I was tempted in 2017 to try my luck too with it. And since then, with all the crypto heading south, IOTA is not anymore on investors/speculators' agenda.
Now that money is coming back, maybe some more will risk. Hopefully the team has sorted out everything right this time.

Maybe is still a good option to invest and if a bull run will happen like on 2017 then is possible to get a good profit but if there are not people interested then is hard to have a price increase.

Investors are focusing into the moving coins in the market and they forgot to look someone in the corner that have potential, not only Iota but a lot.  It maybe they ignore this coin just because of issues happens and keeping their doubts into it. Of course, they don't want make losses and IOTA might not have strong demand that can make it move in order to get attention from them.  Their team members must have to work on it.

IOTA was massively over-hyped back in 2017, and that is one of the reasons it crashed so hard. Yes it does have potential, but it is one of those coins that looks good in theory, but is yet to really prove itself. I have a small amount, but I'm unsure whether to buy more.

Like most projects, including good ones, IOTA has not yet reached maturity. In addition, the crypto industry as a whole is also very young. There is no correct and professional assessment of crypto projects. In 2017, any startup was sold out, which mentioned blockchain and cryptocurrency. And it can happen again.
When people will learn to distinguish good projects from other ones, MIOTA will be appreciated, I think it is highly appreciated.

That looks very good to see IOTA will be implemented a new scalability, but I think that the problem is not on the scalability. I was looking for a coin which will be creating a true utility usage to make it able to be registered at the official's institution. IOTA is always improving its network but what about if they try to think from the different view.
This time IOTA can be considered as a security but it's not even give what already offered by security coin.

IOTA is good but it is still an altcoin and everybody's attention is in bitcoin's price. The limelight is still on bitcoin because of the fact that many investors and traders consider the bitcoin's price is still dominant over all the cryptocurrency or coins in the digital world. Let's see if the bull run really confirmed it is his season then maybe IOTA will start to move favorably along with other altcoins.

Bet you can't find any of those things (error, hack, exploit), most of the drama came from a paper that showed a supposed exploit that required the user to hand over secret data for it to be successful--IE it was human engineering and not anything worth noting. Anyway, I'll let the past die as it really showed how off the community could be when misinformation is flying--now I give every project the benefit of a doubt until I've done my own research.

IOTA is good but it is still an altcoin and everybody's attention is in bitcoin's price. The limelight is still on bitcoin because of the fact that many investors and traders consider the bitcoin's price is still dominant over all the cryptocurrency or coins in the digital world. Yes, this is another altcoin that has yet to conquer the world. After all, they already have competitors. Of course, IOTA depends on bitcoin, but let's hope until they realize their plans.

I think IOTA is still doing their best even in the recent years just like in 2017. But because of the value, people are still doubting about investing in it. People just don't want to take a huge risk on IOTA because most of them are expecting a better improvements on it but IOTA failed to deliver I guess or probably the time is not yet now. I know how people take an advantageous action during hypes, they got more profits from that but there is also a dark side from it and those people who caught from hypes will badly be losing. Hypes will add color in the market, it keeps more alive but somehow it ruins the market when many are becomes the victim of this causing them not to believe in crypto.
I hope IOTA will make some difference and not just pump because of hypes but of the real market demand.
