Swarm Intelligence BTC Movement Predictions

At Delano Interactive we are using Swarm Intelligence to enhance financial market predictions. If anybody is interested, we'd love to host daily swarms (lasting approximately 5 minutes) to predict 24 hour BTC/USD movements. Will expand to other cryptocurrencies if there is interest.

Please let me know if you'd like to participate and what the ideal time would be.

Swarm sizes of 10-25 people are ideal.


A primer on Swarm Intelligence: It is essentially a live AI enhancement of individual opinions to form stronger group insight.
We would need 10-25 people to log-in to a web based swarm software at the same time to participate in a "swarm".
This "swarm" will be used to enhance individual opinions, resulting in a stronger prediction.

I can say that it may have pros and cons if this swarm intelligence would be useful enough I could think that it will still need comments and speculation of others to make Swarm predictions if it is going to be a strong prediction or not we can never know unless we try, But I guess if a number of people that register and sign in with this kind of technology are just FUDsters do you think we can have an accurate forecasting? But anyway this is just my opinion because the AI is the one that will have further analysis with every user's opinion base on the movement of BTC, I guess you can put up ETH as well.

Indeed only 1 prediction that counts, the long term one for BTC.... all the in between is much risk taking and guessing or just a fools game where some will lose BTC and some will gain, but I will not lose BTC caused by stupidity

I guess what else is it other than putting human mind into a computer and expecting it to be right about the predictions. Don't get me wrong I would be glad to join this and give my opinions on the subject but even when falling and even when it should be falling I would always say it will go up no matter what because I believe bitcoin is something that can go up constantly.

This is just machine learning where some amount of people get together and we all say our reasons and we all say where it will go according to us and computer will take a look at the market and see what we say and then calculate how it will be in the 24 hour period, it will do that constantly until it has learnt enough from people and then will be capable of doing predictions itself which means if people who participated are idiots the AI will be idiot too.

This reminded me of last year. Imagine the people who bought when the price was $ 3500 at the beginning of 2017 if the memory does not fail me, and these people decided to do "Hold". so they see the price reach the $ 19000 and continue to hold and months later they come the price to fall to  $3100

Imagine how the hearts of these people must have stayed? this is disadvantage of hold, you never know if the price really can not fall much over the long term

@OP, you need '10-25' people to form a stronger prediction? Doesn't makes sense to me, what's the psychology behind, I know it's supposed to involved AI but how can the group influence the price? Unless they are going to pump the market? Kindly correct me If I'm wrong.

Yeah,what if those 10-25 people are lousy traders and complete newbies?How can their opinions and price predictions be valid?This looks like nonsense to me.

I think it refers to Swarm Intelligence (SI) in improving the prediction of individuals. The use of these scans with artificial intelligence systems leads to a high rate of assessment of individuals and thus credibility, but choosing a random group of individuals/Bitcointalk members will not produce the desired results.

I also believe that price behavior is random and unpredictable even using this decentralized method.

That can be the best and the simplest way to explain Swarm Intelligence. There is a wisdom in a group, as they say. Anyway, let's see the results of this Bitcoin prediction mechanism if it can really produce profits if followed in the actual market. Whatever opinions and ideas valid or not...those may matter or not but we are after the results. So show me the results for this, guys!

Another day, another tool employing crowd wisdom. And really, we only need 10 people, max 25? And then we get a good prediction?

I could wade into the forum, especially the alt section, at any given time and pluck out 50 people who'd probably all end up giving me the crowd wisdom of $100,000 Bitcoin in 2019. Would they be right?

Oh wait, but then only 5 of those 50 actually own and use Bitcoin;)
