Does anyone know if there is any issue with this?

Can someone here confirm if there is any issue sending btc from a sportsbook to binance?  Someone a while back mentioned there is nothing in the TOS against it.  I know with coinbase or gemini.. ppl said they would ban accounts if you send btc from gambling site to coinbase and vice versa.

Has anyone done this and if so, anyone ever had an issue with this?

Go to their site. Read their Terms of service carefully. Make sure your are not breaching any of their terms. Next go to their support.  Contact them and clarify your query. Make sure they explicitly says that depositing from gambling sites won't be an issue.
Some people might be lucky not to get caught, so don't do anything stupid based on their experience.

I don't think Binance have any problems with a deposit from gamblings sites. But you cut always send the crypto to your own wallet first. Like already said read the Terms of service or contact support.

This topic should also be moved to the Gambling discussion!

In normal conditions, a btc account sending funds to a btc account, there shouldn't be any problem. Unless, if binance blacklisted some gambling wallets (very unlikely) they can block funds or if they have a clause in their user agreement (no-one reads them) about this kind of things and they notice it later they may also create some problem for you.

But my guess, there won't be any problem.

~snipped~

Did that several times already. Not even a minor problem encountered.
https://www.binance.com/agreement.html

Also did it on Coinbase on which Gambling thing is stated in terms. Don't how they are filtering it or detect if the funds came from a gambling site.
https://www.coinbase.com/legal/user_agreement

Not recommended though. Just sharing with you my experience so you have a reference.

Hmm... I just read your old thread about this: Withdrawing BTC From Gambling Sites Directly Into Bittrex/Binance an Issue?

It's been said there's nothing about it in their ToS many times and you've already tried it yourself, why are you still so conflicted about this?

Hey all.  I believe i have had btc sent from a gambling site to binance without an issue.

or did you encounter problem(s) after this^?

I feel interested in this issue, even though I never gambled. I think binance understands that binance users have freedom so there is no reason to ban deposits from gambling sites. I got new knowledge about this.

The best thing to do is to contact their support team so they will do a certain action for your query. No one can fix it for you here. I had a smooth transaction with a gambling site to binance so I think you only have to report this case.

I've known that some exchanges does have that kind of policy that your account will experience some problems or they will conduct more interview from the said user on why he receive funds from a gambling site. Some of the experience was like that, their accounts were actually banned.
Just follow the tip that you have to verify and clarify this to the exchange that you use to remove your doubt.

Does anyone know if there is any issue with this?

Has anyone done this and if so, anyone ever had an issue with this?
Me personaly ive tried already sending funds from my gambling account to my binance and nothing happens,I know this kind of TOS who are against depositing gambling funds only applies to wallet services like coinbase and coinsph (our wallet here in my country). You should not have any problem on sending funds from gambling site to your binance, but its not recommended tho, just to be sure and to avoid this create an wallet that will receive gambling funds like blockchainwallet or any wallet that allows funds from gambling site to come to your wallet and later on just forward it to your binance wallet to be safe

In my own opinion in order for you to avoid the hash rules, I suggest you send to you blockchain wallet, then transfer from there to any other location. But Binance shouldn't have any issue with wherever you transferred from though.

Don't take advice from anyone you see on a forum saying it's all alright. Better go there, do some research and find out for yourself and then maybe come here and tell others what did you find out. If there is nothing related to gambling funds in their TOS there shouldn't be any problem but the safest answer will come if you contact them directly. I don't even know how they could possibly detect funds that are coming from a gambling website since there is no special wallet or address to look for. For extra security you could run that bitcoin through a mixer and send it directly to Binance.

Unlike Coinbase, I've never seen anyone complain about problems with this from Binance. I can't say from experience, but you're probably in the clear.

I'm not sure whether or not they truly have obligations under the UIGEA or Wire Act when dealing with US residents, since they only deal with cryptocurrencies and not fiat.

It seems like he's just paranoid, probably because some other exchanges -- like Coinbase and Gemini -- terminate accounts over this.

Better be safe than a big sorry later. Anyway, in case of doubt, the best thing to do is to send first the bitcoin to a wallet controlled by OP and maybe from there transfer it to Binance. Actually, I have not heard of anybody complaining that Binance is blocking a transaction like this. But then again, better talk to their customer support for the final answer.

I've done two transfers from a sportsbook directly to Binance, and that was 3 months ago. Never encountered a warning from their supports or have received any emails regarding the said transfers. Normally, exchanges who do have a problem with such transfers are those compliant with the Wire Act as stated by squatter, and if you look deeper into their ToS, it doesn't state anywhere that they are compliant to the said law.

Or better, ask their support directly. And move this to Service Discussion or Exchanges section.

I agree with you. Si ce nobody here has the same experience as you, then you should better look for better remedies to find the real problem.
Contact their support directly and do a series of research and look for answers to your questions.

Where did you heard about that banning accounts issue?
If you are quite hesitant to withdraw from gambling sites and transfer it to binance, coinbase and other. Why don't you transfer your btc from gambling sites to your wallet? I do that many times and vice versa. And from your wallet to binance or other exchanges.
Anyway, is this the one you are referring to about the TOS issues and banning account?

If so, consider my advice to make sure your account will not be banned by a particular exchange.

The issue is well-known on Coinbase. They've been closing accounts linked to gambling sites for years. There are countless threads about it, like these:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=747596.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1231723.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1508261.0

Gemini has a similar anti-gambling policy in its terms and seems to be employing the same blockchain analytics methods.

You can't necessarily just use your own wallet as an intermediary. They'll still flag your account.

there should be no problems in shipping from any wallet as long as a fellow BTC wallet. maybe this is just a problem or indeed the exchange party has imposed it, the source of the problem must be sought and ask directly to the exchange about the problem ..
