Ethereum is looking at changing its entire consensus algorithm from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake in a bif to improve its performance and make it a more viable and useful blockchain. If Ethereum does pull off a good transition, there is no doubt the price will rise - so is this the preparation from the market.

There has been a lot of work put into getting Ethereum ready for its change in algorithm with the Casper Upgrade being key. However, the next move has been labeled Istanbul and is due in a few months time.

I am convinced that ETH has a very good future. It is by far the best smart contract platform. Yes there are competitors, but they have yet to prove themselves. I'm confident that ETH will continue to grow in price, and I think it will outperform bitcoin in the coming months.

i agree with you 1000%, i think ETH is the best coin, with the best blockchain and wallet. after constantinople update,  ETH has more perspective to grow up with marketcap.

after hit the lowest price few months ago, now the price of eth back and run above $250 and i think the price will growth again after this corrections mate

Are investors giving trust again in Ethereum? It possibly they are, having this price increase will be because investors are taking into the part of its movement. It is quite long enough to give their trust back but we can blame them neither cause the losses they have last year and keeping them in doubts until the bullish trend came out.

This shows a  good sign for me, to hold more time and even months, and i am waiting for this news to come up in the social media, this will pump eventually for the price, but i hope it would eventually came into reality because last year was the worst year for all of us, as we are all experiencing a major losses.

I am still impressed with Ethereum and my amazement started back when I was new to crypto in 2017. I searched for top coins and from that I know why Ethereum is widely considered as one of the best altcoins. And this timing is really good since we are in a nearly bullish market and the upgrades are incoming.

Ethereum has always been the best altcoin, at least for me. It's just like the rest of other altcoin, it was hit by the bearish trend in 2018 that's why the price suddenly went on a downward spiral. But since bitcoin is already on the bullrun phase, Ethereum followed suit as well.

Regarding the upgrades, of course any good news will really affect it's price because it will create more hype again. But if we are talking about a new all-time-high, might take months or at least a year to have a good bounce, in my opinion.

Ethereum is bright altcoin and many investors are available so it will leading the top altcoin. But Ripple was beat many time, so we should not say it was a only real competitor in Bitcoin. Nowadays Binance also growing well so anything happen at future days. I expect it was a good growing crypto at the same time any altcoin also leading soon.
