As an investor, i cannot participate in IEO conducted by small and new exchanges. The main reason why IEOs are preferred to ICOs is because they are more prone to scam than ICOs, and this is because the exchange validates its legality with their reputation. Imagine Binance or any top exchange conducting a scam project, it will jeopardize their integrity, and these exchanges do not want their integrity in question, so they only offer legit and promising projects IEO. New exchanges do not have the reputation to validate a project, they are just after the profit, SO they might promote a scam project either intentionally or unintentionally.

It will be on you if you're gonna trust the platform or not. It is always risky to invest in anything but it doesn't mean you will stop. Exchanges might just focus on the profit rather than to the success of the project but it doesn't always mean that the project will fail or a scam. IEOs also do not assure to earn a high profit or else it will be too good to be true. Set aside your trust in the platform and research more about the project instead.

Actually there is no such things that can prove and  guarantee that the IEO has no fraud committed. The IEO and ICO do have the same purpose but only different ways of selling tokens. Of the many IEOs, of course we cannot conclude that all IEOs are fraudulent. Just like ICO not all the projects there was scam so definitely in the IEO. So to be sure, be in the project that can gives you a good investment in retirn like the ACI COIN Tokens. Cryptomarket was really indulging for having a hood investment.  It's just the matter of fact that we always need to be careful before investing in the IEO nor the ICO to avoid being scammed.

Correct and having IEO doesn't really mean that they are legit one, as there's a lot of scam projects out there running an IEO in a not good exchange and it's really ashamed and pity that there are exchange who were just after the money that they collected and running IEO of a project that they don't search much about the background.

A team could comply from the requirements of the exchange. Let's eliminate that it is a scam project. Let's say that it is legitimate one. Does being a legitimate project promise that it will be a profitable in the end, or it is just gonna be another dead coin in the end?
I think Binance Launchpad could help people to invest in IEOs though, because it covers the upcoming projects also.

yes, the main reason why IEO is very interested in investors is because the risk of fraud in IEO is smaller when compared to ICO. and of course investors will not do that in IEO which is listed on a small exchange. such as Binence is a large exchange and investors prefer to take part in IEOs that are already listed on large exchanges.

ieo which makes scams mostly come from unclear markets and those using fake volumes such as ieo from latoken, p2pb, exmarket, probit, coineal and for those holding on major exchanges so far it is still safe but most of them have pump and dump schemes but this is just in my opinion or indeed it is a strategy of the project or exchange that organizes but this is in my opinion better than exit scam.

Hope that those exchanges will also pay the consequence for listing a scam project, as they are the ones who supposed to investigate with the project they are listing and making sure that they are not listing scam as this will affect their reputation, so it's really bad to see those exchanges that don't care at all , means they are also scam.

I think new exchanges need to be scrutinized well before joining them in their IEO. Most new exchanges don't care for investors. They just collect money from devs and then run shady token sales and list their shitty coins on their exchange. A good example is Bluenote that had its IEO on Dobitrade or was it Dobiexchange? The ceo has exit scammed over a year ago now

When many scams projects are listed in an exchange it will certainly damage the reputation of the exchange and many people will start leaving because of the many scammers. But I think maybe a scam will still be there because maybe there will be a number of scam projects listed in the exchange and what we have to pay attention to is, how do we choose and be careful of every choice we will make.
