LTC halving is pretty new to me. I know BTC halved to BCH, but not too sure if LTC also halved. Maybe Ethereum will halve too in future to Constantinople.

That's not what halving is. Halving is the when the total Bitcoin distributed per block mined is cut in half. You're talking about a hard-fork.

I think a lot of coins that are build from the bitcoin source code may also have halving events if they did not chance specific parts of the code.

Code:
int64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 50 * COIN;

    // Subsidy is cut in half every 4 years
    nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 210000);

    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

As above you can see the original 50 BTC reward and the having as per bitcoin 0.6.0.source.

The best way to check to see if your fav coin has this type of event is to check there github repo for the coin and check main.cpp and search for the word "half" or "nSubsidy".
If the coin has the event it should be shown in the main.cpp file though later code revisions it may be elsewhere.

You referred to fork, fork and halving are two different things. Right now, the block reward for btc is 12.5 BTC per block and it will be reduced 6.25 BTC in 2020. That's what halving is.
OP, I am interested in one PoS coin, namely DeepOnion. The stake reward for the first year was 10%, which has now turned to 5% this year. After this July, it will be 1% stake reward only. Getting ONION will be harder than ever.

AFAIK, ethereum was also supposed to reduce the block reward from 5 ETH  to 3 ETH don't know if they have already done that or not.

As of the beginning of this year, the block reward of Ethereum was reduced by 33 percent. Now miners receive 2 ETH instead of 3 ETH which was the reward before. The block reward reduction in this case was introduced via a hard fork called Constantinople. Unlike BTC and LTC, ETH doesn't have a well defined havling schedule. In theory ETH could have unlimited supply, and I think the dev team is working to change this.

This is the maximum possible reward. In fact, it will be even less. But there is a definite positive sign: there are no significant sales from miners.

I think it would be better for you to go and read and learn about Halving because from this post of yours it seems you don't understand what halving is, so I would advice to learn about what halving is and what Hard Fork is, what you are referring to is Hard fork, which is very different from Halving

Halving means when block reward drop by half as of now miner can earn 12.5 every block when halving occur it will drop to 6.25
BCH is what they called fork its a altcoin generated in bitcoin blockchain

Btc halved to BCH? That's not halving mister ,that's called hardfork ,bitcoin halving is when mining rewards of bitcoin is split into two ,shrinking the size back to half ,Im not aware of LTC doing the same until now though,which is kinda cool

This is my first time of getting to know about LTC halving, which has also given me clue on what is actually contributing to the growth of LTC, apart from the general market trend.
If that is the case then, not only BTC will surge as a result of it's halving, but that also LTC will feel the impact of its own halving. This to me is an eye opener.

Ethereum is going to reduce their mining rewards in the future. This was announced like a year ago, but I never heard something about LTC halving. Are you sure about this? Furthermore, it is going to face all the major mining coins sooner or later.

nearly all the altcoins have copied bitcoin one way or another so they all have all bitcoin's features including its block reward halving. you have to be more specific about your second part of the question if you want  any particular coin that has halving.

if you are looking for halvings from a speculative perspective then you must know that most of the times there is no price rise in altcoins that have a halving because they get dumped by the miners because of the halving and can't get hyped up either.

There are others coins who have halving, but community focus on more known coins which over time attract investors and are more used than others because they bring more profit and are legit.
