The plug-in you are referring to is metamask  .
 How can metamask make a site sketchy, metamask is a legitimate wallet.
The betting site OP is promoting is based on smart contract that is why it requires you to add metamask.

This is just like etherdelta dude,importing your private key/wallet to bet using your own money.Plus the fact that metamask is an legit storage wallet so you dont need to worry abou using metamask.The only thing you need to do to be safe is just to use a dummy wallet for your betting that youll be importing in the site.

Actually meta mask is a really good wallet you should go and try research about it is a really cool and good wallet storage out there one of the most secure.

Yes. If you place a bet and nobody bets against you, you get your money back (no fees).

We've also thought about this and you are right.
I believe that more "balanced" bet evets are better for this kind of p2p betting (e.g., the champions league final).

If a team has a high chance of winning you might want to place a larger bet on this team to attract more people betting small amounts to take your money.
It's like betting a larger amount on a team with odds 1.15. You risk more but the chance of losing is much smaller.
On the other hand, those who bet on the underdog are like e.g., betting in a team with odds 12. They have a much higher risk but they might not care because they bet small amounts.

Yes. We only support Ethereum right now.
I know Bitcoin would be the best choice for this but  the platform is based on a smart contract and writing a Bitcoin smart contract is not the easiest thing.
Same goes for the other options you mentioned (dogecoin, litecoin).
We could add all erc-20 tokens right now (golem, bat, loom, dai etc) but i don't see the point unless people adopt betting with ETH.
Another option would be to create another smart contract with a blockchain like EOS. This is feasible and we are actually considering it.
