More persons have joined bitcoin and the number is daily increasing, as reported by wallet services. The number of persons coming to me for bitcoin knowledge is massive. And more so, every currency can be use by criminals as long as the users are humans.

Today Gold is $1330/ounce. When Gold price goes up +10% that is some $3,000,000,000,000 invested in Gold.

I also wonder why people want to bring bitcoin down because of allegation of being used for criminal activities. It is an allegation as I can say because it has not been proven that all bitcoin activities and transaction are fraud or criminal intent. And fiat also can be used or being used for other criminal activities.

Point of correction, even the fiat currency increase crime, don't you know this? your government had embezzle some funds either for positive use or for negative use. In my country for example, the government award contracts to family members and friends and get away with some percentages of the contract money, and also, the contractor, and at the end the project stand still without anybody saying a word. Governments around the world buy weapons with fiats for war, some government sponsored terrorist with fiat money and your are not seeing them as crime, open your eyes bros. Na u sabi if u no dey hear word.......    Undecided

Polish crypto exchange Coinroom has disappeared along with customers' funds. Their website and all social channels are MIA as well. Ciphertrace reported that in Q1 of 2019, over 356 million dollars from cryto exchanges were stolen which were all visible losses. However in this case the total amount of funds remain unknown which ultimately means that there are even bigger losses at hand than just the 365 million which is insane.

I am really disappointed to have to keep hearing about these types of exit scams. What do we do?

Bitcoin does not increase crimes. Bitcoin is used by childrens having smartphones. Bitcoin is used by young people to buy everything they wanted, from everywhere in this world.  I was a very poor man until 10 years ago, I was living on 1 dollar/day , I had no freedom, I had no friends.
Now I can buy good food, I have freedom and I have many friends, and Bitcoin has made these possible.

I am sure that many people still using bitcoin for good things and not for illegal activity because they realize that it is better to do good things than bad things.
So if there are people who use bitcoin for illegal things, we can let them do whatever they want, and we still need to use bitcoin for good things.
I am sure that the buyer will come back to bitcoin again, and for people who already stress or desperate with the losses they've got in the last year, I am sure that they will realize that it's what happens in the cryptocurrency.
There will be a new investor in bitcoin and altcoin because the situations will change from time to time, and it's not the same as before.

Not everyone thinks that bitcoin contains elements of crime. All according to use. For me, bitcoin has changed my life a lot. I can buy a lot of things. I am sure that next year Bitcoin can reach more than $ 20,000

Your thoughts is clearly and easy to understand, yes bitcoin isn't only use for bad people bitcoinis give opportunity to everyone who need job and income by simply to adopt and understand the importance of bitcoin as anonymous crypto currency.

Bitcoin increased crimes
Cant blame Bitcoin. What can be used for the good can be abused for the bad, Internet as example.
It is a good thing anyone can use Bitcoin.

The OP offered no evidence that bitcoin increases crimes. He should post up some stats or else back off or apologize. There is no need to smear the industry if you are not going to back it up with facts.

Are you a financial advisor? Why would you give people financial advice here? That's irresponsible. I think gold and silver are perfectly fine as investments, and are not mutually exclusive with investing in cryptos.

Originally bitcoin was born not guilty, only users used it for a bad purpose and not everyone thought that bitcoin had the same crime factor as you, I saw many positive aspects of bitcoin, Not negative aspects.

In 2018, when I would read bitcointalk.org there was this seller for 8000 Bitcoins. But 8000 x $5000 = $40,000,000.

There are sellers but very less buyers for Bitcoin at $5000.

I was busy with my website https://dangerousmother.com  In January 2019, I came to know people are losing interest in bitcoin. Nobody talks about Bitcoin after Bitcoin became a digital asset only and all the criminals and scammers coming to Bitcoin because of anonymity. Bitcoin increased crimes

?? What ??

"There are sellers but very less buyers for Bitcoin at $5000."  what the hell does this mean? Bitcoin is selling at 8k where does 5k come from? You not making sense.

"I came to know people are losing interest in bitcoin" Who?

"Nobody talks about Bitcoin after Bitcoin became a digital asset only" So we are nobody? It became a digital asset? Like on its own? How does something become something? It is a currency not a digital asset I use it constantly.

"all the criminals and scammers coming to Bitcoin because of anonymity. Bitcoin increased crimes"   This one made me laugh. All of them huh? So the guys that broke into my neighbor's place last year were into bitcoin? All scammers??  Bitcoin increases crime is my favorite one. No people increase crime. Bitcoin is a digital thing it cannot increase crime or commit a crime. Infact it cannot do anything but exist to be traded with.

And people conveniently forget that bitcoin rose from $0.01 to $3,200 in 10 years, and some have been bearish since it was $100, such as Peter Schiff.
People will pick and choose their timeframes to confirm their biases.

The person here who had 8000 Bitcoins in 2018 wanted to sell all the 8000 Bitcoins. Bitcoins scares BIG investors.

With $40,000,000 the big investor can buy 1000 kilos Gold (safest investment).

The owner of bitconnect.com got arrested in India for $14,000,000,000 ponzi scheme using Bitcoins. Anonymity is helping scammers and frauds.

Bitcoin increased crimes

Can you provide us some link for us to believe you? Including the $8000 seller but less buyers. Again, crimes are always in the society. Yes, they are using bitcoin as a transactions but I do not think Bitcoin is the reason why crimes are increasing. Bitcoin can be considered as a digital assets but can also be used as a payments. You see, there are several things btc can do in our life.

No matter how badly people paint bitcoin and other crypto, there can't be a problem of buyers. Presently, bitcoin and other Cryptos have experienced massive adoption which has signaled a new dawn for crypto and its underlying blockchain tech. Bitcoin to me still remains a very effective currency with which to carry out fast transactions without 3rd party interference.
