The McAfee Freedom Coin appears to aim for total isolation and independence from traditional currencies, assets and exchanges in an effort to reach “the Holy Grail of cryptocurrency — economic freedom.”

This is of course good, but what value will this token carry? In fact, if a token does not solve certain problems, then in fact it is not needed. To populate an asset, I believe that this token should be listed on cryptocurrency exchanges in order to have at least some value otherwise it will cease to exist with time.

I also read about that Freedom coin, it's not mineable and not airdrop and it will not be traded in the market, will these attract investors knowing that it has no platform and cannot be traded in the market, maybe only as a sort of symbolism, so there will be no roadmap to follow, looks like a shit coin which offer nothing to holders.

He was strong during 2017 bubble. I remember his "coin of the week" pump and dumps. +300 % in 5 min. That's what you get when you combine "perma bull", his 900k twitter and lambo investors. One of those 3 are missing now. Lambo investors. Thats why recent twitts and McAfee events has no power.

There already is a freedom coin - it's called bitcoin. I am not sure what McAfee's coin can bring to the table. Unless there is some surprising innovation within the coin, I don't think it will live up to the hype. My guess is it will be another you-know-what-coin.

Yes, that will be a perfect trap for people who still believe him and follows him. Besides that, McAfee will ensure that his coin will be the best coin ever in the cryptocurrency so many people will believe it. Most likely the coin will be used to pay for its antivirus. Possibly, he also wants to make support for smart contracts, which will probably give not a bad growth. Now he has hard times and urgently needs to earn money to raise the rate of Bitcoin to 1,000,000 dollars.
