I am still not able to understand the purpose and use cases of this coin and neither the tokenomics because if a coin is not having an ico, cannot be mined and does not need exchange then it definitely seems isolated and only use i can guess for such a coin is payments and transfers but then again how will the value of freedom coin will be derived?

I believe this is an overstatement, an exaggeration.  I doubt if there is someone who will get serious with this coin of McAfee.  If he launch this coin before all his shilling and  trolling, probably this will be one of the celebrated news and may convince alot of crypto enthusiast that it is indeed the "Holy Grail of Crypto", sadly he announced this when his reputation is already shrunk.
