One of my favorite comments:
"If he really is, he can go onto bitcointalk.org and make a post under Satoshi’s account saying who he is. Otherwise he’s a lier. Or what? Did he forget his password?! Lier lier. And a twat."
Source of this comment: https://amp.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/brc0n8/craig_wright_is_not_satoshi_nakamoto_the/

I don't think anyone can ever log in on the satoshi account here on bitcointalk anymore, because theymos may have blocked the account for obvious reasons already. Also, the real satoshi--if the man/woman/group behind the persona is still alive--would have been laughing to all these wannabes trying to get credit on what he created. Seriously, nothing is to be gained on being proved that one is the real Satoshi, just the few hours fame. The real jackpot is within the suspected 1M bitcoins on his arsenal, and cracking that is exponentially better than being hailed and crowned as Satoshi.

Most people don't believe that CSW or any other scammer is Satoshi, but for those scammers it's already enough that people talk about the possibility of them being Satoshi (even if the comments are overwhelmingly dismissive). They get many benefits from that, first it makes them a crypto celebrity, this awareness increases the chances that they'll find idiots who will believe them, some investors will invest their money in shitcoins like BSV "just in case" CSW is Satoshi, and most importantly it gives them the power to manipulate some small markets - look what happens with BSV price.

Yes the true Satoshi would be laughing for those clowns ,
Satoshi knows that there wouldn't be anything to gain from revealing itself ,
And Satoshi doesn't want to be revealed and wants to stay anonymous.
First of Satoshi intends to hide his/her/their true identity from the very beginning so why would he reveal itself now?
If it is just for the fame then he could have done that from the very beginning.

topics like this with all the historical events with dates from all these scammers are good specially for the newcomers so that maybe they see them and realize that it has been a long while that these scammers have been trying to fool people into believing their lies and steal their money.
sometimes i feel like some parts of the history like these scams, are being swept under the rug.

There is a FOMO brewing...

We have too many people out there with God complex problems and they want to convince people that they are Satoshi Nakamoto to swindle and scam them into thinking that they are the creator of this technology and that the direction they are going in, is the correct move.

Imagine buying loads of BCash and convincing other people that you are Satoshi Nakamoto and then selling those coins that you bought for a massive profit, once other people start following the supposed Satoshi's example.  Roll Eyes

Because Satoshi is known for bringing Bitcoin into existence and wanting to remain anonymous, people will always go about claiming to be him. It is normal, because he has gained so much popularity and respect in the crypto world. His name alone has so much influence.

Well, this Satoshi Drama is really a very attracting topic. Everyone in the community would love to know who Satoshi Nakamoto really is because everyone admires him with his work. And because of him, bitcoin wouldn't exist. But for me, the claim the Craig Wright is really stupid. I can't see the sense of proclaiming to be the Satoshi Nakamoto and His proofs don't really convince me, as well.
They are taking advantage of the people's interests with this topic and getting the people's attention with some benefits, as well.
Maybe this Craig Wright is a frustrated superstar who would like to be known by everyone but it is really nonsense.

I believe you have nailed where all this nonsense is coming from right on the head.
People have a god complex when they see an opportunity to make themselves out to be somebody else if they can take all the glory.
The creators of BCH and BSV both have this same mentality so there is all the proof you need for the answer.

Yes, yes, yes!!!! I love it.

He just do not have in his hands what needs to prove he is satoshi. This forum is one and the next is the private keys.
I dont think satoshi will just easily forget all of those. It might be in some stash of him or maybe even a copy in a bank with all the passwords and everything.
But this Craig guy is just one hell of a dung which is getting crazier as time goes by.
He really needs some help.

I am betting he have a lot of bitcoin in his stash and this is one way to pump the bitcoin price so he could sell and live happily ever after. Grin

even if he didn't have any bitcoin before all this, he has a ton of it now after he created a shitcoin and have been scamming a lot of companies and using all that money to buy bitcoin with.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Satoshi drama has a huge backup and history  Wink but this time it gets stretched really bad and for a longer duration as well but as usual the claim was fake and output was zero. All the keos portrays that real Satoshi has nothing to do with popularity and money and what he/she has done is the history which never going to repeat.

Thank you Satoshi, whoever you are and where ever you are, you have made me believe in online business, and has given me reason to expect a sudden financial wealth, although I have made couples of mistake and am yet to money in my account, but sooner or later, I know I will make good gain from cryptocurrency. We know all persons claiming to be real satoshi are all fake. A lengend will never beg for attention.

From the very begininig people were eager to find out the true identity of Satoshi. Every now and then this interest gets more intensive and some people would like to use that situation and curiosity for their own benefit. So different people who claim to be he appear. But the best thing to do is just to ignore that and don't bother at all. Real Satoshi will continue to hide the true identity and that is his full right to do.

Being the creator of bitcoin is a recognizable person, so it's no wonder anyone is curious about who he is Wink.
We wrote about GotSatosi.com in the article: https://blocktoq.com/who-is-satoshi-nakamoto-the-new-website-is-about-to-announce-it/.

Satoshi is a wise and mysterious person and there are questions that no one could really answer but him. As for me, it's a smart move that he has kept his identity in private to avoid a lot of dramas and controversies.
It's fine if we'll get curious about him but digging too much won't make any sense.
