The Justin Sun and Warren Buffet Lunch has generated a good amount of attention from the media (both mainstream and crypto-focused) not just because of the huge amount the young guy paid to have the opportunity to meet the old man but also because both sides have different stance on cryptocurrency. As someone said in Twitter (@MustacheTommy): "Whether you love or hate this lunch between Justin and Warren Buffett, this one single move by Justin had brought huge mainstream media coverage for our crypto industry. Rather hate, let's congratulate. Rather divide, let's unite. Rather be negative, let's try to be positive." What do you think?

As I understand it, lunch is not just a discussion of cryptocurrencies, but also to offer to become an investor of their startups: tron and BitTorrent

This is really interesting to behold. This is one of probably the most watched lunch the world has ever seen. And truly this lunch as brought the crypto world to the mainstream. Seeing its a lunch I am pretty sure that blockchain and cryptocurrencies will be the topic of the day. This single move Justin sun might be the big break the crypto world needs.

I believe this is a kind of exposure for cryptocurrency all over the world. A lot of people know warren and I see it as a good one for Justin to have lunch with him. The truth is it can never be only lunch but some other investment discussions about crypto most especially Tronix.

I was the one that was not totally happy with justin sun's behavior most of the times but this time around i think his act is great for the growth and publicity of crypto market, this news has also gone viral which will also help crypto markets for long term secondly during the luch he will also try to clear the investors mind about crypto and its uses. So hopefully massive investors and institutions will be attracyed towards crypto as a result of this event.

What do you think?
Unless Carlos Matos from Bronx and Craig Wright the Fake professor are part of those the 7 guys escorting him the lunch with Warren, all Sun plans will fail.

I guess the one who tweeted was damn right! Because looking at the statistics on the views you provided, a whole lotta people especially from the mainstream media are gonna learn about crypto and blockchain and their purported benefits as well. It's good news for us in every way. But ai have one question, who did Justin pay that money to???

Tron is doing good why get the attention of Warren Buffet may be better if the money goes to charity, Warren is a known critic of cryptocurrency and I doubt if this old dog can learn new tricks and besides he is already a millionaire this is very lavish.

What do you think?
I think lunch is useless, Justin Sun is only looking for attention so that the coins get investor attention. Even with lunch it will not change Warren Buffet's thoughts to continue to oppose crypto. Tron is doing good why get the attention of Warren Buffet may be better if the money goes to charity, Warren is a known critic of cryptocurrency and I doubt if this old dog can learn new tricks and besides he is already a millionaire this is very lavish.
Because this is a very very useless meeting. In my opinion, $ 4.5 million is enough to pump the coins yourself rather than looking for attention that will have no results.

Dude suggested on Twitter to be positive. May we follow his suggestion. ...............................................

Although I generally agree with you, I will try to see the positive side here. This is a crypto cry, and possibly some kind of reputation.

$4.5M for a LUNCH? LOL I wonder what they are going to eat that it would cost that much.
All for the publicity, well its true that cryptocurrency in general will be on the spot light with all Sun's effort. Buffet has been very critical to BTC but with facebook developing their coin in blockchain, it should come to him with enlightenment that blockchain is here to stay.

I think justin sun has won the publicity game and by doing so he is serving the crypto market massively and i am sure this lunch is going to have very positive impact on the crypto market, i am sure many minds will change and many will turn to crypto after such marketing meetup.

Is it possible that Warren can be that bold to actually accept the $4.5M all for a lunch? For a man who has everything and had eaten all the kinds of menu in the world, I don't think he'd be that worse to accept the $4.5M. He can just eat with Sun and maybe discuss mutual interest, he can just accept the TRON tokens from Sun. That will make him a crypto holder!

$4.5M for a LUNCH? If you have a problem with that then just about where that money will go - Charity. did Sun say something unique to make buffet think about crypto changed ? I doubt it. It could be the other way around. Justin asking Warren how to invest in other assets to make himself richer.

That guy has a point, everyone should unite that this guy will have a clear vision and opinion about bitcoin and crypto's. He really don't understand what bitcoin is because he's not into technology and mostly his investments dwelled into traditional assets.

Im thinking what is the topic discussed by these two. As you can see Buffet really hates or not really in favor of cryptocurrency but Justin Sun is the owner and ceo of tron network a huge project that perfectly have a decentralized aspect. Im thinking Justin Sun is trying to offer Buffet an investment that will venture in cryptocurrency or more or less collaborate on a new project or become a partner in tron network. Who knows, but assuming the msinstream media coverage I think this lunch is a favorably on crypto industry.

This justin sun guy is a marketing genius, kind of like a crypto steve jobs. It is him that makes tron a great investment rather than the platform itself. I wonder who else he invites

There is definitely a benefit to Justin Sun in terms of the publicity he has generated. On the other hand, some might argue that the $4.5 million spent could have been used to improve his cryptocurrency or invest in a project to boost it. I tend to be among the skeptics of the idea that anything fruitful will come about from this, or rather that he'll get his money's worth. I don't think Buffett will change his mind over this lunch.

Steve Jobs actually had a product that met the needs of the public. Justin Sun has a blockchain project struggling to attract the mainstream. I don't think he deserves the "genius" label just yet.
