Is anonymous betting a desired feature?

I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?

No registration bet is what makes directbet popular in the past, AFAIK, there's one site that is using that feature now, it's one hash but I don't know if they are appropriate to be called as sportsbook.

All I can say is that the idea is good, bring the back the good old times mate. I support you for that.

We have had this sort of gaming experience with directbet a no registration gambling site and I must say it was a success judging from how long it ran and its popular megathread  ,.

Just some advice be prepared to find means to market this service as market has quite a lot of sportsbooks today and that's some Directbet did well, good luck mate.
If I understood the question, Anonymous betting could mean no KYC then no-registration could mean its based on the directbet model and I think both would work because most players don't like KYC. But a no-registration site is not that popular you could try it out and see if this will draw more players.

Being anonymous in investing in crypto seems to be perfect but i dont think it will work 100% on betting sites. Its hard to deal with winnings if you dont know who really wins and there will be a lot of fraud that could possibly happen in this. If you are mot known, you are free and tempted to do anything even its not right.

LOL, but it is not really like being anonymous would most likely will not get compromise. Governments now had made gambling site like online casino should do KYC for the safety of funds deposits and withdrawal.

But still it is alright to play online gambling because a user can use a pseudo name while playing. And this feature indeed is what a gambler should ask for because it is for their safety especially if it involves huge amount of money.

Am a very formal person I prefer things done very securely and transparent there are alot of issue emanating from no registration betting if any goes wrong you might not have a strong claim to hold onto. But when you are a registered account holder on the site you tend to be a part of the betting site.

No-registration bets is a very interesting feature and I'm sure if you can make a good promotion too, then at least it's a very good start to get started. Anything that is made for anonymous fixed users will definitely have many enthusiasts and when you are able to make it easier to use it is also enough for a new site will grow quickly. Imho

I also don't like having KYC just to have fun in online betting though it has disadvantages, for us it will have more advantages. No-registration bets should be implemented, I know there are existing sites that don't require KYC, I hope it will be implemented in gambling sites too. It's very dangerous to send your personal info especially in a gambling site where the government is very threatened in this case.

It shouldn't just for soccer betting site, you can include those all other sports like boxing and MMA.  There are lots of betting site that doesn't need registration I'm sure they are all going to be your competitors. There are some that only needs metamask in order for someone to bet, this is going to be safer for bettors as they need not to deposit coins to the casino.

If you are using bitcoin to pay for your deposits then you are already using it. People use bitcoin and other crypto to circumvent local laws against gambling. Whether this is acceptable or not is another matter of debate. We have so many crypto based casinos here and all of these have a system where people remain anonymous and still play.

However most sites make you start playing without singing up but then ask you to make an account because of easier and safer deposits and a secure account to use again instead of throwaway account. There is nothing wrong in this and in fact denying this is a sign of shadiness from either side.

Signing up on online gambling sites does not differ on signing up on other sites such as social media sites , email sites , youtube  and others  . So why would they be too conscious to provide thier personal info? Unless you mean kyc , kyc is a diferent story .

But there are people that like to stay anonymous and they are the ones that dont usually sign up  .

Other than that , i like your suggestion about privacy coins because btc is not anonymous as it is traceable .

It depends upon the way an user gamble. In most cases people prefer online gambling with cryptocurrency for the ease of access it provides as well upon the anonymity it provides. Though bitcoin is pseudonyms it has a outlook of completely anonymous. There is a feeling among the common people that gamblers were bad and fit for nothing. This mentality needs to be changed, and until then being anonymous while gambling is good for us.

That is the same with me.

Don't get me wrong though, KYC is great but I don't prefer this since I don't really want to send my personal information to sites. Another thing is that I am not that of a big gambler to send my information just to gabmle. There are a lot of sites online you can visit where they don't require you to send your info.
