The latest news is that Subramaniya Swamy has reported that "Cryptocurrency Is Inevitable". He'll be chairing a conference at the UN India’s headquarters next week, where issues surrounding cryptocurrency in the country will be discussed.

It's happy to see that atleast one politician has got some brains. But we can't jump into any conclusions now. Let's see how this conference goes.

yes, its good to see someone in favor of crypto especially from politician groups but on same hand, I think it will not an easy road for crypto to get regulate here in India, you know Indian politicians do work only for there vote banks. Modi is somewhat teach lover so if he is not going to bring crypto legal here then forget the other politician's groups.  Angry

The problem with the system is that we need to have the brains and opinion of many politicians to have a law that makes sense and the problem they will be looking at the cases filed against the theft of bitcoin from exchanges and other complaints and none of the cases are resolved or close to resolving and rather than sitting on those cases without any expert help they are not going to find a solution for that, so they need to plan and create an expert group to take care and monitor the asset and it will be a lengthy procedure and the more time these politicians take to understand these things the companies that invested initially will move to other countries that are favorable.

^Only few politicians got the graduation and technical skill from the thousands of existing politicians of Indian sub continent so its going to be a very hard task to explain everyone and get their favour of cryptos.Even if they do RBI will still go against it because they ar already in huge loss in this financial year and expected more in the future so if cryptos become legal banking sector will be in real trouble.

It is the mindset more than the education that plays a role in decision making. If for example a senior politician say something, the others in the same party agree to it even if they do not. Legalizing crypto currency or not, India has already embraced the technology behind it.

If superior Modi and Amith Shah decides something to be implemented then anything will be possible in Indian democratic secular country.

Press the voting machine button for right cause, next time. Embarrassed
