TRADING AND INVESTMENT?

Goodday to you all, as a beginner in the forum I have being navigating round to catch up with some ideas both in forum and other blockchain related sites I came accross crypto Trading and Investment I never new that such features exist here and I have no idea about this. It will be my pleasure to know and have this knowledge of crypto Trading and Investment. To my observation I see this can earn one a living but the question is how? What are the diffierences between Crypto Trading and Crypto Investment? What makes one a successful and perfect Trader or Investor? what are the precautions? What will I do to start this Trading or Investment?

Your opinions are my priorities here because that's the only way I can learn fast thanks and appreciate you all.

Firstly I would advise you shouldn't rush into any of them just because you read you can earn a living engaging in crypto trading or investing. They are totally two different aspects of earning as one need some special skills which you have to learn while the other needs some attitude/character you have to develop in order to be successful.

Now to the difference, crypto trading is the trading of cryptocurrency which simply has to do with buying and selling of cryptocurrency repeating for profit. Most trading are done daily or weekly while crypto investment has to do with investing in cryptocurrency (i.e buying a particular cryptocurrency, holding it for your targeted sell price or for a particular period before you sell) in simple terms crypto investment has to do with buying and hodling of cryptocurrency.

What makes one a successful and perfect Trader or Investor? what are the precautions? What will I do to start this Trading or Investment?

A successful/perfect investors must have patience while a successful/perfect trader must be smart and equiped with the necessary skills needed to be successful like chart reading, perfect prediction ability etc also he needs luck on his/her side.

Precautions: the precaution are numerous but the basics are, you just have to be careful, keep your emotions in check, avoid pump and dump scams also scam coins. All this can be achieved by learning before you earn. Learning will enable you get familiar with the skills and rules of each aspect of earning (trading or investing).

Google has a lot of search results that could help you understand the differences between trading and investing. Believe me, I learn most of these stuff via Google, reading across several sites and it helps me a lot. Try it.

Anyway, if you've learned them enough, you'll probably think that investment is actually long-term trading, where you have a solid plan to sell after the price reach X point after several years. That's not wrong per se, but remember that in trading, most of the time, you never see the fundamentals/value of the token that you bought. You just see an opportunity to ride the next leg up, you ride it, and exit after you made your profit.

The both terms are closely almost alike or mean the same thing, what only differentiates both of'em is the time frame.
Whilst investors hold their coins for a considerable long period of time after purchase.
Traders are active on the market, the more reason why they are likewise called day traders as they seek daily profits, unlike the investor who looks at things on the long run, based on the potential of a pump in price.

There is actually no keynote to success in them really and most times its actually down to luck, though better study of trends and perfect timing based on the market situation helps to make things a whole lot better.

Yes, it's true and many traders have been already dependent to their trading activities. They have their capital before they started and they have been through many times of bad experiences before they have decided to step up and use crypto trading as their source of living.

In general, trading isn't only happening for crypto. There is stocks where you know that big names in the economy have been traders before but it's more stressful if you're just starting out. And as soon as they have built their portfolios, they turned into an investor where money works for them.

Investing normally requires a period of time before you enjoy your income, that's good for you if you have a decent investment and you also have a job at the same time, so you can earn for your daily expenditures.

Trading on the other hand is the one that could help you make a living on it, but the condition is you need to be smart in trading to be profitable.
You can be a day trader if you like and you'll earn better than what you earn in your job, but this is risky.

To be a successful trader, I guess you need to study first and slowly improve until you will reach to the level that you can ensure you can already be profitable. Nothing to worry as you can learn for free, you can self educate by reading lots of resources online.
