I call them shitcoins ,I was a victim of coins like this in the past ,its total waste of time and money but I'm more wiser now I'd only invest in very popular coins and tokens ,no more taking unnecessary risks

The fact that there are dead coins upsets me. Why create a coin, then to throw it? It is so stupid, given the potential of the blockchain.

They only seek profits and after that coins are left and they bring money from investors, this is very stupid behavior.

50% of mineable coins are now dead. Cryptopia used to be the refuge for many shit coins and now cryptopia died with them.
Many of other mineable coins, POS coins and a lot of tokens are nearing the same fate.
You can't even consider a lot of tokens as coins as they were mostly issued for fun or to make fool of people.

Make more money with creating a useless project that have no potential to give something. It is beneficial for token creators but investors suffer from loses. Dead coins should be a great way of making money for shitty exchanges.

sometimes people genuinely try and it just ends up failing for many different reasons.  The same applies to new businesses in any industry.  They have a very high failure rate and it is something you shouldn't venture into if you are very risk averse.

I guess there are hundred of coins becomes dead coin or even more so it will take huge amount of effort to make a list of those coins.

You can ask the people here to list out the dead coins what they know and update them in OP to get a clear view.

My mentor once told me, a coin can't survive much long on trading and vague hype without a working product which solves a real life problem. Its only a matter of time before such coin dies. That is why we have alot of dead coins on coinmarketcap

This is just a few of the many dead coins. Infact most ICO of 2018 and early 2019 are half dead. Some collected investors fund and still waiting for bull run, why wait for bull run when you have important project to develop! Let's try to invest in what we can trust.

There is a website:
https://deadcoins.com/

It's really good to know all the dead coins

I had to open the website link to see if any of my holding has been documented therein, and behold I saw oztg(flashmoni). Also this might not be so accurate but it looks close enough because flashmoni development has been redundant since ico conclusion.

If it was unknown to die then there will be no use from that that's why I say if it was yeah shit kind then we cannot go back to the previous time and make the changes in it give that and make other way of money making it is the right idea.

There are many more dead coins and tokens out there, developers or teams just don't publicly call it is dead, they just keep it going till the point everything has to come to an end.

what's the point in looking for coins that have died ??
I personally better find new altcoins that can compete in the altcoin top ranks to become something big in the future.

I had some coins back then now they are dead. Before that happens token price dropping to 0.

And that coins don't worth much any point.

There may hundreds of thousand meaningless token or coin on market already. All of us can create a token just paying $1-2. So it is so normal what you don't know some of them.
