Achieving a positive status is not an impossible task or does it require you to have learnt all about the forum or cryptocurrency but the very little act you do here can determine which status you would turn out to be.
There is low or zero segregation by the forum in users. The rules is meant to govern every users thereby giving every one the opportunity to express themselves.

As a newbie you should try to understand you status (are you a troll, do you nag at every rule that doesn't favour you,  are you a unrepentant spammer, are you a selfish bounty hunters or are you here for the mutual benefit of yourself and the forum at large)  this should be on your mind any time you click the logging button.

Why should you be concerned about having a positive status.

This is really not hard to understand that there are enormous benefits for having a good acknowledgement on the forum I would state a few
1. You get chosen for bounty program.. Like they say "hard work pays off" your contributions and positive attitude on the forum will to a large extent determine if or not you would be selected for a bounty program. Most reputable bounty managers never selects a user with negative trust or a known spammer or other negative attitude

2. You tend to increase your knowledge and understanding...most users are turned down by spammers, or negative users on the forum. some users even go to the extent of ignoring those repulsive users and they get fewer knowledgeable reply's to their post or comment thereby hindering there improvement but positive user not with standing if you are a newbie will get encouraging reply's and contribution from others

3.You get to rank up.. The ranking system states thus on this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0 so merit & activities are needed and the more you remain positively adding to the forum you are bound to get all the needed requirements to rank up.

Other benefits are you tend to become someone's role model, enjoy the forum even better, have a sense of safety and boldness,

Note: It's never late to switch from the bad side and over to the positive side.

I think that building a forum reputation is easy if you are a respectable person in real life. Just be yourself here.

Are you a spammer in real life? Do you say nonsense everywhere you go?

If most of people just act like a real person, reading and comment what you read when it makes sense to do so, people would get more merits and have a better reputation here.

I can relate to this post.

I used to be one of those bounty hunters who only focuses on completing weekly tasks and never really thought of making good contributions. It was when I got tired of bounties that I started exploring the other areas in this forum and learning some in the process.

The most feasible method to establish and stamp out a glittering personality in here is via ones post, since anonymity covers all, like a Lance in a scabbard, the only way we can grade ones contribution and classify such individual as being of a good reputation and to a larger degree, sensible, is through what such individual comments on the forum, how they construct their speech, if it's on point and so on.

Wanna create a good reputation?, then post wisely and when actually you have nothing to add, say, contribute, just skip!

I like your answer, our forum account somehow reflect our personality in real life, if we follow the rules, we are all good people but with different attitude and maybe interest here.

Being yourself will make you love this forum, especially if we are accepted here and you can make friends.
Though this is just an online thing and we don't really know each other, but in some way it could give happiness to us users as we stay here.

<…> Note: It's never late to switch from the bad side and over to the positive side.
Well, unless you’ve committed plagiarism or alike on the forum, which is likely to bite you in the ass further down the road when you least expect it. The switching may serve though to mitigate the type of ban you receive, and if you have turned to being a consistent “net positive” for the forum overtime, then the penalty may be non-permanent (rather exceptional though).

Regarding the topic strictly, by status I figure you are relating more to reputation. That is a cumulus of factors derived from your posting abilities, the solidness of your arguments, where you actually post, who gets to read/interact with you, and to a certain degree, all the merit business. There is also potentially a political side to this, and on some cases it may have proven to be a bad move from a reputation point of view to tread on peoples toes (or nuts).

Even if you committed something as plagiarism, it is always possible to go back and delete your old plagiarized and spammy posts (unless if you were caught already)

Thinking of earning money in this forum will make a negative status as this will not help you nor the members of this forum because it will start to think that you have to finish a certain task or you have to rank up instead of aiming these you have to at least discipline yourself not to think of it instead think of what new knowledge you can get or you can give.

Only your mind gave you weakness

...

It's possible to earn from the forum while still maintaining a healthy posting habit. The idea is to look for bounties which align with your posting abilities.
For example do not take up bounties requiring you to post in a certain section for the forum, if you are not well knowledgeable about topics there, and only take on post requirements which would be convenient without your needing to spam. And avoid multiple accounts.
