if holding has been your strategy. my advice is to work on bounties you are sure about. make research about the projects before participating to avoid loading your wallet with garbage tokens. it is painful working for projects and at the end, your rewards are worthless.
Indeed, most hunters must be think that the project are good and worth to hold. Holding reward for long term is good as long the project have a good product and listed in big exchangers.

I sell all the coins that come to me for bounty and buy bitcoin. If I could not immediately sell the coin, then I see how the price just falls. In bitcoin I trust, and in the top coin.

I do not think this is the best thing to do at this time, bounty rewards are little this time in value I do not think you would be selling that especially for already trading coins that ran bounty that their value have dropped huge

Actually most of the bounty hunters are totally dumpers because they only want is to earn from their job which is bounty, but now many of bounty hunter are regretting after selling their token immediately because this is a moment only to sell their token with good price.

Gone are the days when hunters receive huge sums as rewards in fiat value when exchanged. There were cases of someone making as much as over $10000 in a single campaign and it happened that such coins have dumped drastically by now, so the hunter would have lost huge if he never exchanged and then it was the period of receive and dump quickly.

Right now the trend has changed, it is now the period of receive and hold, anyone that dumps will be dumping for a very cheap amount, may end up regretting when such tokens have pumped several amounts higher than how much was sold. Imagine working for three months and receiving $10 in token exchange value and dumping at such amount where it would be worth about $100 waiting for some months being favored with the impending bull run.

It still very risky now for hunters to hold, because I would rather prefer to work for that three month and be able to cash out my money no matter how little, than to wait for so long for the value to appreciate, only to wake up one day and find out that the project had disappeared, which one do you think will be more painful.

Most projects we have now hardly get pumped again, because there are too many options of projects available to an investor to pick from, so we may not be seeing all this very big pump again for one single projects. If I am to invest in a project now, I would rather invest in more than one because of the uncertainty.

I'm not convinced it's a good time to hodl any old shitcoin from a bounty, although dumping for Ether to hodl has been very worthwhile if you've been active since the start of the year.
Probably in a full-blown bull market hodling shitcoins can be even more profitable than ETH/BTC, but this current bullish move is only a reversal in my opinion.
Personally I'll still sell any airdrop/bounty tokens for Ether when I get the chance.

Most bounty hunters still get rid of little-known tokens if they have at least some price at the moment. Bullish trend helped to make some money on tokens that lay almost a year and almost cost nothing.

LOL.. can't put it any better than this. I have never participated in any bounty campaigns, but I have enrolled for dozens of airdrops (with varying success). In almost all the cases, I kept a large part of the airdrop reward for long-term holding and none of these shitcoins increased their value after that. Now I don't know what to do with them, as they are not even worth $1 and depositing them in an exchange may not make any financial sense.

Those bounty hunters who need money have always been dumping, but other have been holding for a long time. It is true that if you hold coins for some time and the market goes in bull run then it is likely that you would get huge rewards.

airdrop is really a thing that helps us make a lot of money but it is not really a good idea. Because you have to cheat a lot of accounts to get a lot of money. But in bounty campaigns, you only need to have 1 account at high rank, you can earn 1k $ - 2k $ in good projects. But projects dealing with bounty hunters are very bad. Cry

I think. not necessarily so. now only see the new IEO projects that cost more than the selling price. Projects with price bonuses will not be good when exchange lists

Bull run will not affect such bad businesses. Bull run is due to many investors buying BTC or big altcoins in the top 20 of CMC. Since then, market capitalization has increased and potential businesses will not be as valuable as the original. Don't expect such projects, you'll waste more time.

They're taking profit for their efforts most payments are not worth upto a dollar bill for over 3 months promotions. Payment is stable tokens should be used by projects.

hope you are right. Because many times when I get a token from distribution projects, its price has dropped many times before. and having to hold it for a long time is the most viable option, but since last year to the present I have not seen any tokens that increase value but also decrease further. so sad

you must use everything that the market gives to you. if the token does not grow in price, you can engage in day trading to increase the number of coins in your portfolio. As a rule, such projects have very high volatility.

Well before i join lot of bounties many of them get drop after listing their tokens to exchange platforms it usually hard for investors decission to gamble their money away for those tokens releasing each ico.

You are very right that gone are the days where projects pay bounty hunters thousands of dollars in token and they exchange it to fiat. The way bounty runs presently is to find a very good project with bounty campaign and acquire the rewards for long term holding

You are right the rewards are nowhere near as lucrative as they were back before the bubble popped, but there are still some campaigns that might provide a remuneration return for your efforts especially if the allocation is not too large and they have potential for launching on reputable exchanges

Well for me if the coins/altcoins i received from bounties are worth holding then i will hold, but if i know that the project is dead and the developers are not active then i immediately sell to have a profit rather than wasting my time and get nothing in the end.

Holding is not a key but an obligation for now. Most of the campaigns distribute rewards just after the price goes significantly down.
