Who is playing Fornite and Apex Legends here?

We can now bet on some streamers based on how they play on Fornite and Apex Legends. Esports platform Unikrn let the fans to wager cryptocurrency on twitch streamers and other sites.

Well it's very unique since betting in eSports is very rare because we will wait for another tournament to bet on our favorite team, but this is different because we can bet every day as long as streamers are existing.

Like where we can bet at our streamers play? The number of kills like that? That would be interesting but the risk of lossing is big because even tho the not so proffesional ones can surpass a pro skill in some games and pros can choke at some games. The return of each bet would be big in this type of gambling for sure.

This is great, however I hope there are more games to bet too since there are a lot of eSports games not just Fortnite and Apex Legends. Now we don't need to wait for major events or tournaments to bet on our favorite eSport game.

It's a unique concept because usually there are only bets available when there is an event or tournament is eSports. Gamblers now can bet on twitch players daily. We should just choose properly because some twitch players are not even that good, they are just popular. I wonder what bets can we do, is it just about winning, or number of kilss, or anythig else.

or the it's different from the other type of esport?

Do you have any betting games on players who are playing dota 2 and cs go? I would love to bet and play with them.

I don't play these games but how does this work compared to betting during tournaments? Would these Twitch gamers announce ahead of time when they'll stream their game so people can bet? Or can people bet even as the game is happening?

I think it runs with the same mechanics as the tournament rules, if the streamer won a game then you will also win the bet.

Would these Twitch gamers announce ahead of time when they'll stream their game so people can bet?

Basically, if you follow a twitch streamer you will likely know the gamers playtime

I have only found 3 streamers in the site and they all suck at playing the game. Just look at their win rate ratio.

Oh, you can actually bet on the players of these games? There are indeed loads of things to bet on on the Internet.
Do you have to watch the games after placing bet?
I guess you have to be experienced in the game before placing bets.

I'm not defending any streamer but having a low ratio doesn't mean they're not good at the game. It's normal and reasonable for most streamers to have a win ratio below 50% because they have played thousands times. It's easier to have a high win ratio(60% - 80%) if you're only tracking maybe 100 games or less.

Interesting odds, but I wouldn't bet on streamers knowing they could easily get stream sniped every round.

First job of the streamer is to pay attention to the audience and play the game as best they can while doing that.   Its juggling vs a serious player who can dedicate their attention purely to that task.    Its very common to find streamers have a compromised win ratio because of that, ignoring the burden of processing the stream will drop FPS and possibly introduce some lag.

Pro players Ive seen playing in a serious game have to turn off chat and ignore the stream, usually they are with sponsored equipment enough to have good enough FPS to ignore any penalty from that.   Its quite rare to see the most serious games self streamed

First time to see this kind of betting. I don't play fortnite and apex legends but some casinos should include these e-sports game because there is CSGO, Dota 2 and LOL.

This is a new kind of betting directly for those streamers, OP is right we don't have to wait for major or minor tournaments to bet for our favorite e-sports. Very interesting, somebody there that has tried betting on unikrn already?

Actually the point here is if they are really good then why would their win rate drop below 50%.
No matter how you look at it and on what type of game you are playing those who have below 50% are most likely depend on their team members too,
I mean it is just luck if they would win or not while other players already know it base on their skill .
Cause if you would think about it thoroughly you would know that those who have high winrate are those who also have good skills in the game,
And mostly they are the type of player who doesn't depend too much on their team mates to win they could carry the team to victory.

You mean we can bet to streamers even if there is no tournament of these games at the moment?. If it is what I understand then we can still win by placing bets on streamers out there. Is it their gameplay that you can bet or not?. You are right about it and I can't find different sportsbook that you can place bet with the game you play.

Yes, because your winning is based on how the streamers play so if you knew that your favorite player is good at it then there's no doubt to bet right? Did you get the concept of the platform? The greater the streamer, the higher chance of winning the bet.

For more information, please search it if you're really interested in it.

I disagree that those people who have low win percentage mostly rely on their team. On battle royale there's different modes and it's not easy to maintain a 50% win ratio when you're playing several matches they're not the same as other games where there's only 2 teams. If you check the leaderboards from different battle royales you see most players only have a total of 100 matches on average.

Cryptocurrency is now a thing that never been used before, i guess this is what a technology looks like when everything is evolving/changing. Crypto has been rarely to be seen used as payment for any services before like eating in a restaurant, watching movies, etc and now gambling through Esports has been used already for such services.
