well 8 th and 500 watts = pretty good but what is the price 1800 usd?  and does it ship from Ukraine or Russia?  If it is not from  China  no Trump tax.

hmm maybe Putin does own Trump (A joke please do not think I am attacking anyone).

I have owned tested and played  with :

A841
A851
A921
A1041 ------------  this is pretty good as a space heater if you have the bigger psu that is not mounted
S9
S9i ---------------- my 1 board mod  is good
S9j
S15
S17pro
T15
T17
M3
M10 -------------- decent on low power
M21s ------------- decent on low power
M20s
inno t2 t24
inno t3 t39
inno t3 t50

I could most likely match or just beat the efficiency and get 14th  with a 2 board m10 set to low speed this would cost less then the model here.

my s9i 1 board mod is quiet  but  neither the s9i or a modded m10  would be as quiet as this build.

If you really need a space heater this item could be okay.  I am looking forward to seeing them in the field.

I would test and demo one  but I do not think I would buy one.  So if I did a test/demo  I would ship it to  the op once the demo is over.

As interested as I am in this concept I do have two main concerns.  Firstly, how fire proof are these units? Secondly, how healthy is the air coming through these things? Any carcinogens tagging along with the heat pouring off this thing?  Those are the two main reasons I run my Innosilicon T2T 30T in my shed (that and because it's way too freaking loud to run it in my house).

A meeting with the RMC project (Russian Mining Center) was successfully held in Moscow and agreed on future cooperation with Dmitry Marinichev.

Alexander Shulgin, organizer of conference in Irkutsk, Russia, also liked Smart-Convector. In his turn, Alexander recommended to patent the smart-convector solution.

I am also still waiting for news on this I wondered if they may be looking to build a more powerful version in future.
Have been watching the videos on youtube but they are mostly in RU I do think mining chips in smart devices is going be become such a think not only for bitcoin but many of the alt's.

I would say it might be a good idea to make some videos in English as the translation is not so good on youtube and I was quite keen  to know more about this one.

I received a PM from them on the 20th. I had to use google translate though and I believe they are ready to ship out demo/test units maybe. I did respond when I was home but it wasn't until the 24th. I haven't heard back. I filled out a form for them a couple months back as I'm interested in seeing the unit in action, and giving it a review. Mild winter so far but this would go nicely near the wife's work space which is a cold spot for sure.

so I see you use this psu.

https://www.trcelectronics.com/ecomm/pdf/lrs150.pdf

that is a meanwell lrs-150-12

159mm by 97mm by 30mm

it is 87% efficient

I used many meanwell psu's

IIRC  they have a 91% efficient model

The Hrp is 88% at 12 volts same size
https://www.trcelectronics.com/ecomm/pdf/hrp150.pdf

I need to do more research.  But I do like meanwell psu's as they are easy to source.

I would like to see someone from here review this - I would like to myself but as I have little to no clout here, it would probably not mean much if I did.

I offered to review it.

Standard terms.

If you want btc  send the gear upfront.

If I like it I will  buy it.

If I don't I will send it anywhere you want.

If you want upfront payment I would only send paypal.

They never really got back to me. So I let it be.

From what I understand :
It is a space heater that mines .
It is not a miner that  is a space heater.
So if you need a space heater it has value.
If you do not need a space heater don't buy it.

Big plus

1)  you can mine to an address and hodl the coins for a few years.
2)  if you use a space heater at work  this should be good for you.

I think it pays for itself in 24 months if you consider the electric bill as if it where a regular space heater cost.

Something to ponder.

30 months = 900 days x 2.30 usd a day = 1860  so if you need to use a space heater 24/7/365

it pays off in 30 months.  if you need it ½ the year it takes 60 months.

not counting  diff and coin price.
Heh - not a chance in hell any miner like this would still be making money in 30 months from now.

If your goal is to just make money, then there's plenty of altcoins to be mined with way lower difficulty (and payoff) than BTC.

It's a bit altcoin territory but you can always point your miner to cheaper coins that pay less for lower hashes, proportionally...

This would have been good gear if they released in in Dec 2019 they did not.

I do not understand why you woke the thread up ⬆️ to post your comments as they do not seem to belong.

I never saw any of these mining ⛏ anywhere on the net.
