that is all?

- Who is the owner of the exchange?

- Who are the team members?

- where is the exchange headquarters?

and about this: https://bitlocus.com/aml-policy

Establishment of the identity

Before any customer can access and benefit of Bitlocus services, identity of such customer has to be established.
For Bitlocus to be able to establish the identity of its customer, Bitlocus must obtain sufficient data/documents/information from a (perspective) customer and verify such data/documents/information against independent sources. Customers that in the opinion of Bitlocus pose higher risk may be investigated more thoroughly which may result in requesting of additional information and taking longer term for verification of the identity of such customer. Bitlocus retains a right to re-establish the identity of the customer in cases where Bitlocus Ltd sees it fit and in relation to that, request additional data/documents/information or renew previously submitted.
Customer’s identification information will be collected, stored, shared and protected strictly in accordance with Bitlocus Privacy Notice and related regulations.

But you're anonymous and are asking your customers not to be anonymous? Does that make sense?

Linkedin or a modest amount of googling would help you in this case. But for security reasons, we chose not to promote who we are (even though we do not try to hide as well).  However, based on your feedback (if this will be an issue for more users), we might have to reconsider this.

Also, based on the UK law (where the company is established), we must identify our clients in order to provide service (even if that would be crypto/crypto trading).

...for security reasons, we chose not to promote who we are...

For security reasons, I'm choosing not to use an exchange which doesn't reveal its owner's names.
This is 2019, there are many exchanges competing, and I'm expecting a new entry to reveal its owners full ID with their pictures and bios.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

if in my country that is very poor and very corrupt and has the most misguided laws of the world asks that companies register to be in compliance with the law, so where you registered your exchange also requested the documents of the owner of the exchange, so you have no reason to hide and have the courage to ask documents to your customers when you are anonymous. How do you think someone feels about handing in their passport to an Internet stranger?

No one does and im actually surprised that they didnt tend to disclose their identity. For what purpose on hiding themselves? On this way it doesnt built up trust on its earliest phase yet transparency does really matter on these kind of times.

You can drop by their office and check whether they really exist or not, seems like they put a detailed address on their about page.

Not sure if this is fake or not. Try to contact the company where he worked in the past.

This is not the first case, when a new crypto exchange is pretending to be registered in UK or USA,but actually it's located in some country like Estonia or Lithuania.
If this really is the "official thread",then OP should move to the Announcements forum board. This forum board is for discussing established crypto exchanges.

This is a cheap place for a young company to make its first steps. When lucky, we'll probably move flashy place but at this stage of business, we better invest the money saved on office space to marketing so that more people could know about Bitlocus.

We are not pretending, we are stating. Bitlocus is UK-registered and ran from Lithuania.

This forum board is for discussing established crypto exchanges.
I have consulted forum moderators prior this thread, but thank you for the opinion.

Hmm sounds legit tho, Companies that are registered in UK can run anywhere in the world. I also like that you have given the personal information and have listen to some advices here.

Partnership with self key which is a new active company sounds a pretty good idea tho, lets see how this would go as I am really not a fun of ICO's.

Other than that keep moving forward.

 Huh

that means that in the UK you registered with address X and in lithuania you have address Z this is definitely not good

There is no proof that you have office inside this warehouse, can you show proof that you have office inside this warehouse?

Hmm sounds legit tho, Companies that are registered in UK can run anywhere in the world.

many hyip ponzi sites have registered in the uk and as you may know all ponzi sites are scam.
