BITCOIN PRIVATE ( BTCP ) NOT CONNECTED PLEASE HELP

Electrum wallet server NOT CONNECTED. I downloaded the Electrum in a new windows 10 PC but my BTCP balance does not appear even with my ledger nano s synchronized. Please help. How do I recover my coins?

Are you talking about BTCP a fork version of bitcoin? and it does not show in your Electrum?

If you downloaded electrum for bitcoin only what you can see is bitcoin balance, not BTCP.


Much better go directly to their official thread and ask about their wallet(Fork of Electrum for BTCP)

patroncito, as BitMaxz say, did you download Electrum BTCP wallet from https://btcprivate.org/wallets ? However this BTCP version is fairly outdated, released more then a year ago. It is possible that there are problems with synchronization, or something is blocking this wallet (antivirus / firewall).

Maybe problem is just in server you try to connect, so click red / green dot (bottom right), uncheck “Select server automatically” -> Right click on any server -> Use as server -> Close and wait few moments for sync.

I found the information on their Twitter that new updated Electrum BTCP was launched, and I think you need manually add it to server list, and then select as server. However some information say that spending is disabled for more then a year, so this fork as most of others bitcoin forks mainly produces problems for users.
