Your topic isn't correct, it never reached $10K at least yet. On some of the Bitmex futures it hit $9600 or so however the spot markets or the perp swaps the high was $9400 or so.

I think $10K will be a tough barrier, if we break-thru it then there will be many FOMO thinking since $10K broke that $20K is next. So we should quickly go to $12-$13K.

If $20K is broken then easily go to $25K or $30K. I highly doubt we will see $100K.

Of course, $100k has a long long way to go. We should be conservative in our expectations so as not to get disappointed. Even at $20k level, this value is still hard to achieve at the moment. But I think, gradual increase is better than drastic change in prices. The market is not scary if the increase is moderate. Sharp increases have the chance of going down tremendously.

For the price to increase, we just needs the cash flowing in, and that's excatly what's happening.
It probably is a whale movement trying to increase the price of coin at a rapid rate but people had been cautious from the last time and would jump out when they feel they had a good profit. So, this train might not go over $20K, not this time.

I'm expecting shorter, faster, louder.

This is a parabolic advance. It may not be entering the next bubble yet but we can't keep expecting to correct after every $1,000 move. The weekly is a huge bullish engulfing and the trend is curving vertical. The next logical obstacle is the ~$11,500 pivot from Q1 2018. $10K is too close. It'll get run over.

Today the momentum is backed and crossed 9k first and now at 9200$ . This is a good news as demand is rising continuously and might mark 10k in June itself . It being along wait to reach that 5 digit mark for the btc and will give a lot of hope for the holders as well.

  The current bitcoin's value does reach $9k, a good sign to speculate its  good outcome will consistently exceed. I think $10k will touch in the next month with our positivity and optimism. And hopefully its growth will continue to pump immensely profitable.

Bitcoin did not touch 10K yet on any exchange. It might touch 10K in few days from now but i do not think it can sustain above 10K for long. Bitcoin has a strong resistance near 10K and it may be badly rejected as soon as we reach near 10K. But nothing is certain now. I will suggest to convert your bitcoins into usd near 9900$ and later buy back them cheap near 8800$.

Not too fast dude, we just broke the $9k barrier if that is what you meant. I'm not sure what the price will be, but if we are going to based everything on it's past history, the real bull run happens after the next bitcoin block halving, yes we are in a bull run, but if we are looking for like 2017 massive growth then we need to wait in 2020-2021.

Seeing the price at preev ($9k) and this topic! Tho the price crashed badly..
The bitcoin price made a good jump but without a proper time for consolidation, I want to see a week of consolidation at +$10k then every ~$2k until we reach ATH at least to stay safe.

That's my target too. We're past the stage where reaching $10,000 can be referred to as a target, which it was below $4000 but no longer is today.

The current bull run brings me back to 2017 where each time I looked at the price it has gone up, which makes me even more happy that I closed my shorts between $6000-$7000. The trend has given us a signal where those who go against it will be rekkt brutally. I hope for our ultra bear Tone Vays and his hypewave friends that they have no open shorts anymore. 

I wonder how long it will take before the OTC market premiums have gone up to such degree that large investors start to slowly buy up spot. Good time to hodl.

I'm not saying it's gonna correct immediately after $10k. I just meant it will break $10k before correcting (since we just had a correction). I think $11k is likely before a correction back into the $9000s.

I don't think BTC can sustain 10k right now, there will be some corrections, and in a few days, for sure BTC will hit more than 10k

There's always chances out there that the last time high can be hit and be surpassed by another raging bull, though it's still far from that as $10k ain't been hit yet, but to sum it up being optimistic and open minded regarding to the current flow will bring you more  interest to wait and hold on.

One step at a time, if breaking $10k will happen this month then another level to be break the following and so on.

Where did Bitcoin cross the 10k barrier? From what I see on coinmarketcap, it almost reached $9.3k and then moved down a bit. So it was not even close to $10k, and I don't think it will be in the next couple of days. Bitcoin is doing very well, but let's be realistic with our expectations. I think that it's very likely that Bitcoin will be $20k and above at some point in the next, say, 5 years, but hoping that it will reach the ATH this year is not realistic. And besides, why would we want that? If it reaches that price fast once again, what will stop the price from dropping and us from living in another year or two of the recovery period? I think that not have a bull run is better from the long-term perspective.

Granted these are expected psychological levels but $100K seems too conservative to me. Remember $10K in 2017? Same idea but the market ran straight through it, barely even took a pit stop there.

Since $100K is only 5x above the previous ATH, I think we'll go further.
