It's easier said than done. We just can't read the movement of the market, still a lot of bearish people are waiting and wanting to see such low price like what you said. I even read quite a few people who's looking at the possible pull back of $2500. The future: BTC at 20K? The article where I got the info from has some bullish points!

I highly doubt BTC will get to 20K this year...
That's what you think, I'll put a little bet that BTC will reach 20K this year. Compared to last time it reached that price, there's plenty of big news and more speculation this year, in short, market has matured so possibility is really big. |

it's all speculation, they're just looking at the previous scenarios that happened in the past and "experts" concluded bitcoin's price could reach $20k at the end of 2019.
even a newbie in bitcoin will speculate that the price could reach $20k at the of 2019 just by looking at the previous price increase.

The future? Nobody knows, we are all speculators here, others wanted to see the price goes to another all-time-high this year, so that's more than $20,000. But there are proponents who have been in this market for so long thinks that we don't need to rush, we don't need another parabolic rise that will follow but another dismay price that people who are against Bitcoin will say it's dead again.

in my opinion, the past is Bitcoin still has a very cheap price, I regre. because I late in getting to know BTC. now BTC is recovering after creating a bearish market, and the BTC path is now still skeptical. but in the future, BTC will reach a value of $ 50K.

I am not that sure if the past is really accurate whether it is created by one person or by a group like company. But the current market right now is very interesting to follow as it is currently being stock by many therefore it's price is keep on moving upward.
The future, I cannot really tell but 20k$ is not that difficult to reach but if the future will favor in bitcoin then 50k$ will be ideal in the future like 3-5years from now.

The last line is up for debate here as some will feel it will not touch $20k by 2019, and others feel it’ll cross $20k before the year ends. I am one of those few who feel it’ll cross $20k because adoption rate has increased, public sentiments are high and there’re many global situations which will make people purchase bitcoins. The situations I’m referring to are Iran vs USA war like situation, and China Vs USA trade war due to this demand for bitcoins shall grow and in turn it’s prices shall rally. |

There is some people who believe it can reach $20,000 but not this year because it is even having some problems with reaching $10,000 so to double this amount within a year will take several factors to fall in its favor within the last few months left in the year.

Bitcoin is quite fun to speculate with all because it is quite volatile and there is indeed that great potential that it can go beyond the $20K it almost achieved in 2017. Well, as for me, nobody can be sure of what will be in the coming months so I just prefer to wait...be happy for the best and just accept in case it will fail to get there. As a small investor, there is nothing I can do with the movement of bitcoin except maybe to send it positive wishes and aura if those can really help.

You got it right. People who bought 1000 bitcoins or more they did it when Bitcoin was $50. Now only BIG sellers are there. Those BIG buyers could criminal banks or cartel. HSBC was involved in $100 billion laundering. |

The easier it can get at 3k the same it could reach 20k. The market is very volatile and you cannot predict what is coming next. The only thing that you can say about the present and the future of bitcoin is that it is a very profitable investment, considering that 3k is already high enough from the initial price that it was offered. |

There are still lots of people who underestimate the capability of Bitcoin to rise this year. We have witnessed how Bitcoin could reach the best value before and it isn't too hard for it to reach more than 20K again and I have no doubt of that.

Well let's address your/your link speculated future about cryptocurrency it would be like a Deja Vu knowing bitcoin had once reached such price previously in the past. But I don't think bitcoin would be close to it this year or even next year.

to reach 20k this year I think it's too fast
but in 2020 I'm sure bitcoin can reach 20k or more
the reason is
1. halving (this is always a factor in increasing the price of bitcoin)
2. Libra by Facebook (thanks to Libra, cryptocurrency will get more people's attention)
