Hi all, I have been trading on Bitebtc.com since February 2018, I have been depositing and trading bitcoin alternatives and managed to raise over 8BTC equivalent to over £50,000. I have for the first time attempted to withdraw some money 2 days ago when everything went wrong...

After investing over £20,000 in Bitcoin on Bitebtc.com I have been defrauded by them, I attempted a withdrawal of 7.6 BTC as I have recently had a car accident and am unable to work right now, everything seemed fine, the withdrawals have been set up as the image shows however it said it can take upto 24 hours. I waited patiently but 24 hours later I get an email from Bitebtc.com support telling me I have violated their terms and conditions and I cannot access my account. I have read over their terms and conditions but could not find anything I have done wrong, I have sent countless unanswered emails, I am frustrated as I really need these funds to help me with wages, paying mortgage and I was going to buy some equipment that would help my healing process.
After checking their reviews I have realised they have done this to many people like me. I have issued a police report and will contact the authorities in Singapore where they are based, but it wont solve the issue that I have been defrauded and have relied on these funds to keep me going for the time I am off work.

I also lost XVG on Bitebtc and received an email like you, that I violated their terms. It's funny that withdrawals also violate the terms. I think you won't be able to get your money back. Really condolences! I shared it on Facebook, hopefully!

I'm really sorry for you but it seems you are going to lose all your funds, you can help this bitcointalk thread against them to find those scammers and get them into jail.

It's too late for op but for the rest that are coming here to read his story I highly recommend you don't play games with your money. Not your keys not your crypto.

Please go for a DEX.

SwitchDex.ag even their own switch.ag
Etherdelta
Bisq

These are the top DEX that in my opinion you will be safe with them. Also, Of course these are good but limited, if you want to do other trades stick to the main exchanges like binance, don't store your funds in exchanges for your own good.

I list these dex because you don't need an account you don't store your funds there, less chances of losing your everthing.

To the OP Sorry to hear that you are another victim of these scam exchanges. Hope you actually get your money back, good luck with GoFundme

Actually OP had already mentioned that he just find out that there are many victims in the past, things that he must have learned before investing to these scammer, but I know this is not the right time for blaming

Please move this to the Scam / reputation section. You will find better help there.
Best thing to do is this so you will have more sympathizers and might get some good advice from the experts and also the site will be alarmed and many people will be warned

So move this to Scam/Reputation section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0

There transfer this and provide more proof

After i read the screenshot, it's suspicious for bitebtc tell you have violated their ToS. They also didn't tell you what's ToS you have violated until your account got blocked and they even tell you if they will not response any of future msg.

We should really stay away from this exchange and just using our regular and proven legit exchange sites.

Anyway, here is their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2791504.0

Seems the OP still active recently and would like to hear from their side about your problem

Dont send this guy any money if you were thinking about it. Yes, BiteBTC is indeed a scam exchange but this OP is likely a scammer looking for a free handout. He has multiple accounts and is engaged in different scam attempts across the forum.

BiteBtc has been longed termed as a scam exchange. It's better to first and foremost carry out researches on any exchange before putting huge money on such exchanges and the amount you claimed  left on the exchange is huge. Own private keys to all your asset.

The problem is based from OP's story he already used bitebtc since 1 year ago, and there was no any problem with his deposit or withdrawal until this scam. So he doesn't know if bitebtc could be turned scam while he tried to withdraw bigger amount

Before join a exchange is important to read from other sources about it, i like to use coinmarketcap as reference:, if you see what they say about bitebtc:

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitebtc/

They show a warning about the site:

Code:
We have received reports that user deposits are being withheld. Please be careful with your funds.

They have 21,500 btc, so we can see it as a small business, so, i would recommend you to use kraken, for me, it has worked great so far.

Getting back on bitebtc, after read their who is information, the address they use is:

Code:
Financial Center Flr 35, 50th St y E. Mendez St

And after google about that i found another scam involved with that address:

https://scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&p=329601

So, since this is a scamming network i think will be hard for you to recover your BTC, i'm sorry. The lessons in the cryptos world aren't cheap at all.
