For me, i have to waiting first how LIBRA will grow.
I don't think if LIBRA will have a good future because Facebook brand is just a new in cryptocurrency.
That's why i have a little doubt.

I don't think they have been listed yet. They have not opened a public sale also. Only private and institutional investors are funding them at the moment. You will probably have to wait until next year to buy on exchanges.

I don't think yoo can buy them just yet, although there has been a news that the website has been released. For me I am not interested in buying into the hyped Facebook coin and will gladly sit and watch to see how it all goes

I don't see any reason for me to buy this coin. It's not an investment coin because it will have a stable value just like the stable coins that we used to know like USDT. But if you think that you can use it with the services tied up with the coin, you can use them as you please.

I don't see any reason for me to buy this coin. It's not an investment coin because it will have a stable value just like the stable coins that we used to know like USDT. But if you think that you can use it with the services tied up with the coin, you can use them as you please.

As long as a lot of people rush to buy it, its price will go up and it will make you rich.

Facebook is a big name; i am sure many will be attracted to buy the coin because of FB.

yes, facebook is behind it, but that just means that facebook will get profit from cryptocurrency launch, not that every buyer will earn money

Only the details relative to the coin has been published. The entire details can be found on the link https://libra.org/en-US/. It is creating the separate wallet named calibra for holding of libra and the same gets added to Facebook, whatsapp and other applications. In the name of calibra an company is established for all crypto related dealings. The partnering with Visa, Uber and leading corporates will surely make it successful. More things have got added to it, let's wait for the days to experience the reality of libra.

Like you everybody want to book their share of Libra coin. You can buy it whenever the coins are issued. So far Facebook has not announced the date for its issuance. And as far as pump of Libra coin, Facebook has announced that its coin would be stable to some extent and there is not any chance of its pump. So lets hope the coins will be issued soon.

Target launch for Libra is in the first half of 2020. Libra will start as a permissioned blockchain (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc are permissionless blockchain). Meaning, you can't mine it if you are not allowed by the Libra Association to mine it.

You can apply to be a Founding Member to have rights to run a Validator Node. Only 1 billion dollars is needed  to apply .

I'll stick with the decentralized and permissionless coins

It won't pump, it's a stable coin.

The only pumping involved in this coin is Facebook pumping data out of us for free in order to feed their behavioural profiling business, and sell on to advertisers.

That's the point of it as far as I can see.

For anyone who is considering buying this coin, if you're not on Facebook already then just avoid it. It's the absolute opposite of decentralisation and anonymity.

If you are on Facebook then please be aware that they have already built a digital version of your history, preferences and perspectives - this coin is simply a further step in the refinement of the model.

I would be surprised if Facebook doesn't gift it's billions of users a token amount of Libra to introduce everyone to it's money system.  Facebook has obviously decided it wants to learn more about everyone's spending habits and click bait advertising hasn't done them any favours over the years, so why not just start their own crypto currency and sit back and watch what each and every user does with the funds given to them at start up.

I'm sure the Libra will either be pegged to a fiat currency, or it will be sold like gift vouchers in ten, twenty, fifty or even one hundred dollar increments.

Libra sales dont starting yet, based on statement, Calibra wallet will be ready at 2020. may be token sale at 2020 too.

There is will never pump and dump scheme, because libra is centralized coin and another stable coin.

No, they only just released their white paper and are still building their foundation partners who essentially will be the custodians, decisions makers and operate the nodes,they want it seperate from mainstream facebook,as a distinct subsidiary of facebook.Libra will not be up till 2020

I think it's another great development for facebook and Cryptocurrency for having LIBRA around. But personally, I won't rush into it but might later go for it. Let's see how it goes.

Before the price is very high? hey isn't Libra a stable coin with low volatility, I don't even think this coin can go up after listing on the exchange.
Moreover, this coin is a centralized coin where the price will always be controlled by Facebook. You better buy bitcoin because the bitcoin situation is now getting better and growing.
