It's not yet on exchanges and they are still on testing phase including the testnet. Launching will happen next year (2020). To know more: Facebook announces Libra cryptocurrency: All you need to knowI don't see any reason for me to buy this coin. It's not an investment coin because it will have a stable value just like the stable coins that we used to know like USDT. But if you think that you can use it with the services tied up with the coin, you can use them as you please. This. ================================= There's 2 important things everybody must know: 1. Libra's value is stable. It's basically digital fiat, so it's meaningless to "invest" on it. It's something like paypal or mastercard, do you "invest" on paypal? 2. The US congress has ordered facebook to halt the development of libra. As binance research mentioned in their report, since libra is backed by USD, Euro, GBP and JPY it will weaken USD's monopoly if it becomes adopted worldwide.

I don't think they have been listed yet. They have not opened a public sale also. Only private and institutional investors are funding them at the moment. You will probably have to wait until next year to buy on exchanges.
Big companies and whales are going to be the first one who will benefit from this coin because it will be offered to them first, this will guaranty their success because they have the full support of the huge companies, these are the ones who will create volume and manipulate the market.

Target launch for Libra is in the first half of 2020. Libra will start as a permissioned blockchain (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc are permissionless blockchain). Meaning, you can't mine it if you are not allowed by the Libra Association to mine it. You can apply to be a Founding Member to have rights to run a Validator Node. Only 1 billion dollars is needed to apply . I'll stick with the decentralized and permissionless coins that's shocking but not shocking. I'm looking forward to see how it will do but it's highly unlikely that it'll get listed on exchange right away. People who are not members will probably have to wait a long time before they can see it on any exchange. risky step by facebook

even more surprising is when we saw Facebook banning crypto advertisements and then they themselves made crypto which was traded on the market. I thought it was only for their community, apparently they prepared their crypto to join the market.

You can't buy it right now as the coin is planned for 2020. As the coin is a stablecoin, it doesn't make sense for buying it earlier or later. We should buy it when we need to use it. Thought the price against USD could fluctuate a bit, but it would not be a coin to buy and hold. It's price would be fixed with the valuation of a number of fiat, commodities and probably cryptos.

let's look at the progress of this project, if indeed they have been registered with Coinmarketcap I don't think this is an issue anymore. this is a project that will continue to run, even though at this time we do not yet know how this project will progress.

This is a forum for the latest news about Libra, the Facebook cryptocurrency (stablecoin). There are already many news and tech analysis about this blockchain, that could be used worldwide by 2.4 billion users. The first validators will pay $10 million to join the network! https://getlibra.net/

I do not understand why I should buy Libra. It doesn´t make any sense for me since it is stable. I can hold real dollars instead of having something in which I have to believe that is backed by a dollar .

Libra is being so hype now in the community. A sold-out ICO is not a doubt on this. but what i am looking forward is how they can get more. Will Facebook enough to have the currency and use their LIBRA to pay any merchant in the world? Or it will be use to games and apps on their website?

I think that with the purchase in a hurry is not worth it. We need to see how this coin will weigh itself on the market for a while. And then it will be possible to draw any conclusions.

There is no need to be in a hurry to buy libra because price of this coin will be stable and worth equal to 1 usd at all the times, secondly all the supply will be kept by fb and other partner companies and only available to general public through fb apps and proposed wallet called calibra.

Perhaps some willn't like it, but I'm not thrilled with this coin. Libra was originally declared as a centralized coin and its price will be adjustable. It will be a club coin for elite members of the community, but now there is a stir in the media and an advertising campaign to its promotes . I will watch and wait.

Can we buy Facebook cryptocurrency Libra now? How? Where?
I want to buy asap before the price pumps greatly.
If they were to hold an ICO or IEO then it would be blockbuster because everyone is the community is watching this and we can't deny the fact that millions of people are using Facebook. The disadvantage of this is that this can be prone to manipulation which defeat the purpose of cryptocurrency.

in 2020 we can buy Libra. now Facebook only makes whitepapers. patient brother! Libra coins will have fast growth. I predict there are many platforms that will support Libra liquidity, such as ebay, PayPal. and others. besides, libra coin will be the main coin for investment and the world of trading.
