The Litecoin Foundation has just announced a new collaborative effort with the Bibox trading platform and the company Blockchain Ternio to launch an electronic debit card.
According to the official announcement, the companies will work together to introduce an electronic debit card called "BlockCard", to help users spend electronic money both online and in stores around the world. . The list of all supported coin coins will include Litecoin (LTC), BIX copper from Bibox and TERNio's TERN.
Bibox trading platform will act as a depository unit, protecting funds for users. Ternio will provide a platform for debit cards. The Litecoin Foundation and Bibox will integrate BlockCard directly into their official digital wallet, LoafWallet.
Thereby, the Litecoin Foundation has become the latest name to introduce its own electronic debit card. Recently, the US Coinbase trading platform also launched a Visa debit card in 6 European countries, allowing users to use electronic money at any location that accepts Visa payments.
