Why do you gamble?

This is a simple question, but one with a much deeper meaning.

Have you ever considered the reason behind your gambling habit or in some cases addiction? Do you gamble for fun or do you gamble for potential profit?

TBH between profit and fun, the motive for me will always be profit! It's never a nice thing to lose money and say you are having fun, it's hypocritical.

Do you gamble, because you hope that a big jackpot will solve all your debt problems or that a big jackpot would fund your dreams?

Am not a fan of jackpots and don't believe in them either because as far as I know these depend on how much you wager, and am prudent enough to bet with only what I can afford to lose unless someone says I have the wrong concept of how jackpots work.

Everyone who likes gambling certainly has different goals in general. For me personally, Gambling is my hobby and I always play gambling when I'm free. And the goal is to get profit (if you win), have fun and look for luck in the jackpot. So hobbies in gambling will provide great benefits for earning income. And I'm not an addict, I can control every time I play.

Atleast someone is honest with their reason for gambling,which is to get profits! These days I find it difficult to believe people that say gambling for them means fun only I also wonder if people still give this as a reason....

For me, I gamble for fun and entertainment. I’m not a fun of gambling aiming to win the big jackpot or make a potential profit. I’m a fun of gambling/gaming for making the game much serious, much challenging, and also to become much competitive because at the young age I know how to handle well so money I know my priorities. Also, I’m not lucky at some games that usually need some lucky I much prepare some games that you need some skills and talent to win.

The reason why i gamble, because of the profit that everyone wants to gain. This is why some gamblers are addicted in gambling. Because if your lucky its easier to earn money. Everyone wants easy money, so thats why most people gamble.

Then what if you lose?what will happen to your need to profit?

Why not invest in crypto instead of risking in gambling that in which you said is need to be lucky?while in bitcoin investing there’s sure profit though needed some time to make possible

For some people, they really better to do gambling for instant money instead of invest in coin or maybe do trading. Even it is rare, i have meet someone who really do it. When he lose, he not feel any regret or any kind like that.

For me, the motivation behind starting to gamble had been the money. To be honest, in sports gambling, it is a combination of both money and excitement plus thrill that gives you surprises. I respect those people who are working hard and find ways to double their money and came into gambling for looking at some opportunity in here but I don't know if everything will come at its best or we lost it instead. I can safely say that I already graduated wasting my money in gambling casinos but I still gamble though but not that much now because I only play sportsbook and it's only related with Basketball because I love it and the last time I participated was on NBA playoffs, I lost a lot of money back then I will never go back again, I learned my lessons.

The best way to also avoid getting addicted is just to reduce the rate at which we gamble,whatever one does often without giving space will surely become addictive overtime.

Been in that situation after playing in the neighborhood poker game, I got home without nothing even to buy a burger for myself. I have to call my sisi to come over and lend me money. Sure I enjoyed the laughters on the table and the drinks but that's it I still lost my cash. It must be worse for someone who has a family to take care and got home nothing to provide for the hungry mouths.

Of course my initial thought when gambling is because I think that I would make money from that.
On a second stage, I do it because I watch sports and I love it so when I gamble I have an anticipation for a result. This gives me a great feeling and entertainment.

I think when we don't chase the luck, the lucky will come to us in someday because we deserve to get those lucky.
