I think it is basically as a result of the forces of demand and supply and most epecially many bounty Hunters are ready to to dump the coins in question and these are the some of the reason why most of the value of coins/tokens do drop in price once listed on exchange.

Well this has become a trend for most project, once it gets listed, it will be followed by a free fall. Also I think this is usually worst in exchanges with very low volume, so I think good projects and their team should try and get a good exchange before Listing.

This as been a question running through my mind always. All ICOs have their ICO price and sales price. The ICO price is usually lesser than the market price (that is why people invest to make profit when its listed). But this days when coin is listed the price drop drastically much more than ICO price which left the investors of no profit. What could cause this drop when listed? Let's hear our own though please.
There are a lot of factors actually involving the market price of a certain coin. First of all the market price depends on the buyers and sellers in the market. Its quite normal to drop the price when it is listed in the market. One factor are the airdrops and the bounty rewards. Usually its a free tokens and you can sell it any amount you want. Sooner or later its market value will stabilize.

Many things affect this, one of which is participants who sell all coins when they are released in a market but this can also be caused by investors who also sell all the coins that they get and DUMPs occur that we know that investors have more coins than bounty participant.

Bounties are a way to spread the word and I think that you should recognize if people from poorer countries just sell, to them it is a lot of money.

The logic is quite simple. During ICOs the project gives alot of bonus in as high as 50 percent, airdrops and bounty tokens to thier participants and members of the community freely and immediately their is an exchange listing, the human nature will always prompt everyone to dump. The onus now lies on the project to list on exchanges with market markers to maintain the price or buy back to stabilise price

Well, let us all be honest and I tell frankly that once the bounty hunters/participants receive their bounty token rewards I can't that most of them are in a hurry to sell their coins once it has been listed in the exchange, no doubt about that. But if the price get dump its value in the market while the participants is not receiving yet their token, it means the whale investors are the main reason for it to decrease the volume in the market.

This is normal in my own opinion since most of the bounty hunters will sell their token once it will hit the exchange but after some time all will be stable if that is a good project and later on the price would surge.

Well, that's so simple. There are more people that are dumping the coins than those people who wants to buy. It's just simple economic rule: law of supply and law of demand.

This is a very interesting question.. And i have narrowed down the reasons of dump after listing to this - Lack of proper or adequate exchange listing. - Holding Bounty hunters tokens/coins for a long time - Absence of Good and experienced project Advisor - Fudd - Absence of good news to motivate holding - Legal problems

Main reason is either bounty hunters dump their coins or those who bought at ICO dump their holdings too to buy more amount for a cheaper price. It's just the faster you sold your tokens the more profit you'll get because eventually after many days that tokens already dump hard where it's below 50% from the ICO price. If the team is really serious on their project and will follow the roadmap of their project it will return to its original ICO price after a few months and even increase above that.

I don't think bounty hunter can affect the market hugely unless the volume is so low. However, presale investors are the one who dump at the beginning including some of the ICO team member as well.

I feel that the pricing of Ico will be at a higer end and when they listed to any exchange, the market decide its real value and that is the real price of the coin

It actually depends on the particular project. There were several projects whose coins/tokens pumped as soon as they are admitted on exchanges. That means the fundamentals of their projects are good and that there are interested investors and supporters or even users of their products who are ready to buy their coins/tokens from the exchanges. What is sad is that majority of the new projects have nothing special in them. Even ICO investors who bought at a much cheaper price and got some bonuses during the ICO are waiting for an opportunity to dump. That finally happens when the exchanges list the coins/tokens.

It is also that a lot of people have different expectations in terms of their income. For some people 5 dollars is a lot of money. For others it isn't. The beauty is that bounty campaigns provide you with opportunities no matter how rich or poor you are.

This has become a norm but I think a contributing factor to this is listing on exchanges with volume. That can really reduce the price if a token making it worthless. Also I think when there is too much bonus on sales, investors wouldn't mind to dump at any amount. The main factor affecting price dump is listing on exchanges without volume.

Bounty hunters should learn their lesson after all these negative thoughts by forum members. Dumping the token can be worth for a days but it will hurt the team and bounty hunters at the end. Price is not dumped by the loyal bounty hunters.

The cost of many coins after listing on exchanges falls below price ICO for various reasons. Among the most common is - airdrop/bounty hunter, manipulation of project teams and early investors, who took coins much below price of ICO.

Look, if there wasn't demand during ICo and it was not completely sold out, then price should drop after listing, because demand isn't excessive. Drop in price is ordinary thing

It is usually happens because some bounty hunter sales their token immediately no matter the price is , that is why the market dumped automatically.
