How about accepting payments from these countries listed above?
I have some traffic that listed on their list how about if the customer is living on these countries listed above do they disabled my account permanently?
My country is not listed there but I have some visitors that listed on their list do you think it's allowed to sell service on the location listed above even my country is not listed?
I tried to google but I can't find any answer yet. It's time to switch to another payment gateway

How about accepting payments from these countries listed above?
I can't say surely about this, but I think the restriction will affect the payment system also. You may want to contact them to get a solid answer? I have some traffic that listed on their list how about if the customer is living on these countries listed above do they disabled my account permanently?
My country is not listed there but I have some visitors that listed on their list do you think it's allowed to sell service on the location listed above even my country is not listed?
Customers will find a way around if they really interested in your product/service I guess. As an example, I use namecheap and namecheap uses Bitpay and Bitpay restricted my place - so whenever I need to make a payment I need to use a VPN. It's time to switch to another payment gateway
Maybe switch to another one if the work is less, or you may add a new gateway which accepts all?

It's time to switch to another payment gateway
Maybe switch to another one if the work is less, or you may add a new gateway which accepts all? This is my big problem right now I can't seem to find any legit alternative for coinpayments that accept other altcoins. Wordpress recommends Gourl as an alternative but there are many complaints that Gourl is scam. Anyway, I'm waiting for coinpayments response and hoping that it's still allowed to sell service on these locations listed above.

Their list is basically half the countries on this Earth lol I don't know how they're going to run business by restricting their services to the countries which have a good crypto history. They're good enough for informing people about it and willing to refund by talking to their support. It's rare to see such nice things in the crypto world lol

That's odd, I have an acc there but I didn't receive any emails maybe the only ones who got this email were the users living in one of the countries from the list? Btw, is it just me or there have been a lot "service restriction" news popping up lately related to cryptocurrency services? How about accepting payments from these countries listed above?
I have some traffic that listed on their list how about if the customer is living on these countries listed above do they disabled my account permanently? How would they know where the payment came from? I don't know how they're going to run business by restricting their services to the countries which have a good crypto history. can't tell if you're serious or just joking...Did you read the list? Nepal, Zambia, Syria, Vanuatu, Eritrea, etc...tell me, what crypto history do these countries have? 99% of people in this planet don't even know where most of those countries are on a map.

I have some traffic that listed on their list how about if the customer is living on these countries listed above do they disabled my account permanently? How would they know where the payment came from? I haven't used Coinpayments, so not sure about their system. But I know how Bitpay works. When we check out, we land on Bitpays payment processing page and from there they know which country you are from - so if you are from the restricted country you won't be able to make payment. Syria has 1000s of years history afaik, it's not a new country which popped up a few 100 years ago. Not sure about Nepal, Zambia about their history but Eritrea is definitely the new one which I knew right now and I think I heard Vanuatu before.

I do not like service like coinpayments and bitpay. Crypto will better off without them. Crypto is here for everyone not for this and that country. My suggestion to the people who are using coinpayments and bitpay, why not use Paypal instead?

You can't hate businesses because they're businesses and try to comply with some shitty rules set up by control freaks. The alternative for them is to be taken down by force, which is why they rather leave. Looking at the list of countries they don't provide services to anymore, I'm sure that Coinpayments won't be losing much revenue at all. BitPay is a slightly different story because of their anti Bitcoin stance, so yes, in this case we are way better off without them. My suggestion to the people who are using coinpayments and bitpay, why not use Paypal instead?
PayPal is just as shitty, perhaps even worse. They close accounts of people because they **think** that people are buying and selling crypto or things related to crypto. Best option is to use BTCPay Server, where you as merchant at all times control the funds and don't rely on BitPay, Coinpayments, etc.

These aren't surprising at all given the fact that they are all historically countries that are sanctioned by the US or other countries, and the states of the US that they have included in there are also historically restricted from accessing crypto related services.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how they are handling this situation though.
A lot of exchanges/services would take advantage of the situation and make it extremely difficult for these users to withdraw their funds, especially past the notice date. But they seem to be quite supportive. It's still up in the air how they practically handle this, though.

You can't hate businesses because they're businesses and try to comply with crazy rules and are forced to forbid the platform to some countries If the company had the choice it would probably accept all countries and almost all activities. In addition, the list of blacklisted countries often appear in payment processors and everything related to money. +1 for BTCPay for an alternative to CP.

You think that's half the number of countries there are? What kind of Geography teacher took your class mate? Jokes aside, this is probably because cryptos are declared illegal in those countries. Don't blame Coinpayments, burn those governments down to the ground to solve your problem.

They gave me 1hr for support ticket but no response yet. Anyway, I think they don't allow me to sell in these countries so I decided to disable their WordPress plugin temporary and find another alternative. Already checked them from google but I don't see any trusted alternative for coinpayments and it looks I need to stay accept bitcoin with coinbase payment gateway. What I'm looking right now is a woocommerce plugin for WordPress that accepts bitcoin and most of the altcoins just like copayments but it looks like no alternative yet that accept most of the altcoins.

I did not hear that cryptocurrency is illegal in USA, but two states from there is on list - so this is very likely some black list composed from countries which in some way or completely do not obey to all possible laws on the prevention of money laundering, terrorism, KYC procedures... How about accepting payments from these countries listed above?
You as seller offer your product / service on open market, and any buyer can bypass restrictions imposed by CoinPayments in a way to use VPN, which is ultimately one of the purposes of this software. You can just add another solution for blocked countries, but also leave CP as a primary solution.

New York state is pretty notorious for its Bitlicense on cryptocurrency-related services and products (which a crypto-related service must have to operate in the NY State), but sucks that there are so many people that won't be able to use this crypto payment gateway anymore. Hopefully people do not use Bitpay's payment gateway as an alternative, because of the drama with them requiring payment URLs.

I got notified about this email that is also send out to users a few days ago. My best guess every user need to do kyc sooner or later. In order to maintain our high standards and operation in the evolving regulatory environment CoinPayments is now rolling out a KYC requirement in waves. Your area has been selected and in order to continue using our Merchant Services (buttons, API, etc.) you will need to complete KYC within 30 days at https://www.coinpayments.net/acct-kyc if you are only using us for Wallet Services (personal use of the wallets with no commercial activity) then KYC will not be required unless you want to remove your daily withdrawal limits.

I definitely think KYC is coming to more and more crypto-related services in the near future as governmental pressure on crypto continues to grow, but this will hopefully at the same time increase the demand for more decentralized solutions such as decentralized exchanges in the area of trading. There's still plenty of improvements that can be made for DEXes, and I may very well consider using one in the future.
