People are losing confident and interest in altcoins

It is sad for the altcoins that people are only interested to trade Bitcoin. Ethereum did lose a lot against Bitcoin since the beginning of this year. Are altcoins going to recover now?

It definitely is sad to see altcoins not gaining value but according to a recent analysis 24 hours ago, Eth has its restricted value in the $355 range I think and this is similar for what Bitcoin had RV in $9500. After crossing that value, Bitcoin sky rocketed and I think ETH will follow the same route. Meanwhile, you should try to collect some more ETH to claim the profits in few days.

Word of advice, people lost faith in Bitcoin a few months ago. We're going through various of peaks, troughs and volatility. Altcoins, especially the more promising/working ones will not be going anywhere.

One of the most important metrics for traders, is how much their portfolio is valued against BTC. If you understand how much weight/correlation your portfolio has against BTC, then many top alts don't seem to be dead or as bad as many of you are making it out to be.

People are interested to trade only with bitcoin because bitcoin is the first crypto coin, It has good history and price of bitcoin has been rising time to time, people found it the safest and the easiest investment ever, new investors can try trading with other altcoins but old investors are only trading and investing with bitcoin or ETH.

One reason people loose interest in altcoin is because of fake projects. I have taken time to study some projects and selected some to invest in. The position of Bitcoin being the original coin will hold. As for Bitcoin being priced at #1 in CoinMarketCap -the prices of most coins will be able to dominate it if given the chance...I think that Ripple could in many years push Bitcoin off the #1 rank.

I agree with your opinion, that for investors with small capital it is certainly very difficult to play bitcoin, because all popes gather there. Altcoin still provides opportunities for crypto trading, the real advantage is the same because of various factors such as proper analysis and luck.
Why do people hunt bitcoin, of course, the price factor is very high and its popularity is global, so the appeal is greater, but the capital needed to trade must also be large. Small capital must be good at seeing space to play in order to enjoy the benefits.
