Probability of having a WASTE BIN Wallet for scam tokens.

honestly. i think that most ethereum holders hold  lot of scam or fake tokens. these days, there are so many fake tokens making difficult some times to deferentiate original token and fake ones.

My opinion if possible: Can we have a waste bin wallet where people can dispose scam and fake tokens sent to their wallet in the ethereum blockchain. it will help identify and clarify the total number of tokens available in our wallet.

Why don't you just create a brand new ethereum address and then send all your "shit" tokens there? It is effortless to do that. However, make sure that you keep the private key just in case those "shit" tokens would go to the moon.

Why we need one like that who will control the private key in case there is a pump of any of those coins, I seen happen so many times dead coins suddenly gets a pump from exchange like Yobit, just create a dedicated wallet for yourself and transfer all your dead and shit coins there but do look from time to time for any pump that could happen.

Good idea, but i think its a waste of time if the ethereum developers will also do that for us, it may be redundant to their time, just stay or hold it in your wallet and nothing will happen, just let it stay there for long, no matter what, there is no need to create another platforms for that, as long as it does not bothers you anyway.

Definitely agree your answer, why OP consider too much , direct create a new ethereum address and send all the useful tokens to there, this is the only ways for me to distinguish scam/fake tokens, otherwise there are too much tokens keep in single address.

Not every ethereum holder does have each of erc20 kind of tokens. We have a choice to hold erc20 tokens or not but it doesn't mean that when you hold ethereum, you should also hold those worthless tokens.

You must suggest this to Vitalik, there's no way to have that kind of waste bin the very option that we have is this.

And what if the tokens you dump in waste bin comes back to life? Yes there are many fake tokens around but to pick out the best ones is your call ,learn to detect non fake tokens and your wallet will improve with better valued tokens
