How to fund a PORN?

Hi,

i'm working a while in the adult buisness and got the option and contacts letting produce a high quality porn video.
Years ago in a forum i was pretty active, we users played with the idea to make a own porn movie like we want. It was a funny idea and many want it, but never goes real.
Now when i see the near possibility to realize that, I remembered these idea and can't forget it now.

I just want ask what u think about this? Do you have any ideas to organize a crowdfunding or investment concept to realize that?

We talk about around 5.000 $ (maybe less) for a A+ high quality around 30 min long video with 1 female (premium babe) 1 male and all music and video editing work.

So what would be the benefit if someone would support or fund you up with $5k usd?You should at least mention on how investors would benefit.

Making the video is just the start. Marketing and selling will probably cost you more than the video production, if you don't have an established site or outlet.

That's my main question - what would be better, a crowdfound realization with more community elements and no "investment" part, or creating a real brand and get investors in with offering % of earnings via views on ph xv and so on...
2nd would require help, can't do everything alone.

Maybe what @seoincorporation is trying to say is, instead of getting investors, which could be hard in the beginning, getting a loan should be easy route for now to at least get your projects going. At least when you become successful, you have paid the loan and then you have extra money to put another video and then it's goes on and goes. Just like you said, its like youtube content monetization, which is very difficult at the start but once you got an audience it will be very very easy to earn.

IMO the best way to crowdfund such a movie is to reach out to that audience directly through the places where they hang out: forums, blogs, tube sites, etc.

What I don't get here is:

- What's your profit in making such videos when the truth is, almost all of such videos are available online in a matter of minutes once they get published? Why would anyone pay you to watch them? (Not asking about Pay Per View but buying Premium service of a reputed porn website and then watching).

- And why are you looking for sponsors, Porn literally doesn't ask for sponsors but get it upfront because it's PORN. Is it illegal at your place to take a loan for the same?

- Have you got any plans in your mind to repay your investors (or even your bank if you apply and get sanctioned a loan) if what you've expected won't be achieved? If you have no backup and you don't really market it to an extent that could reach out to an audience really willing to pay you to watch your video/s, do you have anything that could be of any value just in case you are needed to repay during some mentioned time based on your agreement?

I am Absolute not in that business and I only heard from such videos thru a friend (of course) but what I believe would be something that might work since it works in any other damn business is:

- Product placement in your movie
- Girls wearing a branded tshirt or some other sort of item that makes a brand name stand out
- Able to decide what is going to happen (even if just partially)

5,000 USD is absolute nothing in terms of fundraise and a simple promotional video on youtube with a wanna be influencer is going to cost you 5k and you will have max 50k views.
when I see (sorry, i mean when my friend tells me) how many views some videos get on certain platforms, this is definitly for an investor worhwile if you can make sure, that video will be apealing and the girls is top.

There is a market for niche porn(by niche I mean more pervert,but without anything illegal,of course)but I don't know how can you get funding for this.The big crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo most likely won't allow adult project AFAIK.Crypto crowdfunding isn't reliable.You will have to directly contact some moguls in the Adult industry and ask for direct funding(if you have budget and a good business plan).

To say the truth, number of users accessing on the internet for browsing the adult and pornography contents only. In that situation if you want the people to attract the users for adult content.
It is very easy thing for you collect the funds via cryptocurrencies by just adding the bitcoin wallet and payment notice after that there.
If you want to use BTC in this field, I am damn sure it will be a perfect option for you...

Sure niche porn is in many arguments quite better. Easier to monetize, lower competition and much more. But your overall reach will be always lower. You have to monetize this on point and should not go on pay per view. In the small buisness area niche porn is making better money - but the big game is focused on mainstream. With all my social medias I always stayed straight and go with the mainstream. But like i said, you're totally right!

- I just said it's hard to protect your copyright and everybody will first look up a way to see your content for free before buying it. If you're a big producer (like Brazzers) you can sell premium passes and deliver many fresh content in short times. But for less content it's better to let it free for watch and earn with ads and content programs.

I am not religious. and in my youth I have enjoyed many x rated videos. But this is not about rules or prudish mindset. You are porn people. This forum is not for porn people. You will not find many investors here because people here are not here with a filthy mindset. They are here to do business. Porn as a business sucks. It has very low revenue model. Degrades women.
