Explaining bitcoin to my mum this morning I accidentally came up with quite a pithy slogan for Bitcoin:
Bitcoin is Better
Short, to the point, alliterative and it scans.
:-)
Edit: searching the forum there are plenty of prior usages of this phrase so I am not trying to claim any authorship or anything.

Could be useful as a physical/web viral marketing campaign.
Stickers, bumper stickers, flyers, tweets, facebook posts, etc that all simply say "Bitcoin is better".
Someone curiously types in "Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin is better" into google.
Just make sure that the search results are good. Sometimes people feel the need to find something. They are less likely to feel it is a scam if they went out and looked for it.

Currently they're not great... But I like the slogan.

It conveys the message that it is better than whatever, but also that it is not best.

People use 'Google bombs' to advertise a particular term yes, this could work...
Hasn't been particularly effective in spreading the word lately though.

I think Bitcoin is better because it seems less arrogant.
Banking sucks ... Bitcoin is better. Paypal is arrogant ... Bitcoin is better. VISA rips merchants off with excessive fees ... Bitcoin is better.
Kinda like someone saying "there has to be a better way" instead of saying "there has to be a best way".
The reality is Bitcoin probably isn't best (best hasn't even been thought of yet) but since the banks & moneychangers suck so bad people are looking for something BETTER. People aren't looking for best. "Damn it I want the best even though I don't know what that means". Some people are starting to realize that the current way isn't working and there has to be a better way. Bitcoin is better fits into that.

Or to put it perhaps into a more E-Prime form which avoids the "is" of identity, and to speak of ones own perceptions/preferences as opposed to some assumed absolute God-like objectivity etc.: Bitcoin: works for me.

I'm tempted to guess Clinton but it depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is...
