Thanks for sharing this info. It will really help leftovers to avoid this scam.
This is not something new. In 2018, hackers earned Ethereum worth $150,000 from MyEthereumWallet. Hackers steal over $150,000 in cryptocurrency with DNS scam

I read that and that is one of the reasons why I left using Myetherwallet, there is no guaranty that they will not have a repeat of what happened back then, I'm now using hardware wallet and of Mycrypto desktop wallet it's more safer than an online based wallet.

I have seen so many of these on Facebook and Twitter but if you frequenting the scam sections, there are a lot of posts that are similar to this, people back them do not know this until so many scammers are doing this, it's become so popular and until now it existed and people should be aware of all of these.

This is essentially for those who are new to the space, that they do not fall prey to cheap scams. The above ad seem to be very popular on facebook, a mimic, requesting you to fill the form and make some deposits to claim your rewards. That's is the scam part. The legit site is https://www.coinmama.com/ and NOT coinmama.com.ru. I am sure those who made deposit will not get anything  out of it as it obviously mimicking another popular site. Just be careful.
Any contrary opinion is welcome for discussion pls.

Thanks for sharing this mate, I am sure it would have helped lots of people who would have fallen victim to avoid it. I think by now, so many people having understood everything going on in the crypto space should be wise enough now not to fall victim, no matter how new someone is to cryptocurrency, there is no way he or she would not have heard of the high rate of scam going on in the crypto space, and be extremely careful with his dealings.

Thorough research must be done very well before using any site that we come across, and when it comes to these exchanges site or some projects sites, I usually do prefer to go through the sites registered on coinmarketcap if they have any record of such projects on their database.

I am one of the victim like this, its really hard to detect where is legit and where is not, as some of this phishing sites are too legit but in the end, its a scam. The experienced that i had, serves me the right not to fall any types of scam like this, many of this postings are now popular in crypto groups, so lately what i did is that, i ask some members of the group to check whether the said program is legit or a scam.

The sad thing is they are using google ads nowadays and google is not doing anything important about it until it gets reported. Like they do not care themselves and let it be until it gets reported and they check the report, in reality it should be not getting advertised at first and google should not allow them to exist at all but they let the work done by the people and only check it if it is reported.

If it is not reported (unlikely) google wouldn't do anything about it. Which means you can put a phishing website to google advertisement anytime you want and google will allow you to exist until you get reported and you will make as much money as possible until you get banned. That means for a while all phishing websites are allowed and they are capable of getting money.

First of all, thanks for sharing this valuable information with us. I am sure someone with a similar question about coinmama will find this thread on Google. The phishing sites are a knownly common problem but there is no way to stop these scammers. The only solution is to warn other traders.

Damn! Any airdrop asking one to pay is scam. Also, I usually advise crypto enthusiasts, don't just click any random site you come across,  some will even install spyware to your device. Some sites will ask noobs for private key or keystore, in a bid to hack their wallets. Let's be guided please.
Thats true some airdrop are damn because they do their best to scam others especially the begginer in crypto space..I saw many things like this and its alarming that they spread again because they know that btc is growing again.

Thanks for information. Nowadays incidents of scam are rising with the market getting supported by the world. On a daily basis, I encounter such ads asking for signing up for airdrops or for dollars.
But I tend to avoid them simply as I do not have much time. Now I have become aware of such fishy activities of such projects. We must stand together against such projects.

Just ignore such e-mails, and people that are trying to make you to contribute to something. Always do your own research and do not listen to anybody. You have the right to make your own decision, so just forget about those guys.

In fact, I also often remind my friends, to be more careful and see in detail before entering and filling in the data. A small example when entering a phishing site, typing an address of 1 letter (false) will be bad. Never be bored to warn to stay alert to many ways of scam. Thanks for the information. Of course I really hope this will be beneficial for all of us.

A very simple trick of scammers, when they offer some profitable action on their sites or something similar, you should always remember that free cheese, only in a mouse trap and better such sites pass by. Especially if it's related to the cryptocurrency.

You are adults, you should understand that fraudsters never do anything in vain if they give something they ask in exchange for your personal data or other information, but this does not go without a trace.

Thank you so much for this, it is well known or even a big error to demand payment from people before rewarding them, I believe this post will serve a great deal to those new to this space.
Secondly, I have always adviced people to always visit website either by directly asking for the link from the admin in Telegram or by visiting CoinMarketCap then following the link from there, and afterwards bookmarking for safety reasons.
