Japan is one of the best countries for Bitcoin at the moment, because the Japanese government has opened it's door for a Bitcoin friendly environment. They have also recognised Bitcoin as a currency, which is something that are not being done by many other governments all of the world. <Most other governments define Bitcoin as a commodity> Bitcoin adoption in Japan is also very high and you will find a lot of merchants that accepts Biitcoin as a payment option. I think Japan will be the Bitcoin hub of the future.

No doubt it's Malta and that's not even debatable. Untill Malta starting showing positive signs towards the adoption of blockchain technology, I never knew it was a country. Malta has partnered with a Blockchain Startup to Improve Public Transportation in the country, it has also rolled out a plan announce by their Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat in 2017 towards Ambitious Strategy for Blockchain Technology also Malta has attracted reputed cryptocurrency exchange into opening local offices in the country like the likes of Okex, Binance etc due to their blockchain freely laws and regulations. Also their government have showed support to the numerous summits and conference held in Malta over the years, the list can go on and on but with the few reasons I have listed it's safe to say Malta is the best country to live in as a Blockchain (Bitcoin) enthusiast.

Liechtenstein, Estonia, South Korea is probably on the list too. They're not the same on the degree of friendliness though. Estonia and Liechtenstein are friendly for crypto startup afaik, lots of ICOs comes from here. South Korea is really crazy, any ICO can do 40x iirc even if they do it in the bear market last year.

Estonia seems to be the most digital-friendly, but Japan seems to be the best for crypto itself.

Some Asian countries are more crypto friendly right now compared to other countries like them. Heading the way like what Kakmakr said is Japan followed by Korea which is also on par in terms of development in both cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, it's also good to point out that Samsung which is made in South Korea has also implemented a crypto wallet with their flagship phone. I guess the most controversial I will say is China, their regulations might be pretty unclear to us until now but the physical signs that they are moving forward are still there. They have large crypto exchanges namely Huobi and OKEX they also have crypto mining rig manufactuers like Bitmain.

Basically, which country has adopted Crypto and the Blockchain best in your opinion till now?
Its so hard to pinpoint that. It changes almost too fast to beign able to do it. My best guess would be Japan because of payments channels intrgration and general tech-awareness. I could be very wrong tho. Some other country could surpass that already.

Estonia is one country which I consider is the most progressive in terms of adaption of Blockchain Technology. Even there prime minister of the country is involved in progressive talks regarding adaption of tech. After Estonia, there is Malta, Japan, Singapore and many more to go ahead.

Though a lot of country accept crypto and runs blockchain but in my opinion best country for crypto is Sweden . As we know that Sweden is the first country to implement a full-fledged digital currency as an official. For many reasons, cash and other paper instruments are on the way out. That is why Sweden is best for crypto.

Well there are a couple of countries that i know are very friendly to blockchain startups and crypto in general. Take countries like Korea, Philippines, Switzerland etc. All these countries have welcome cryptocurrency and people are able to use it legally in there.

Literally not US because the government wants to regulate all the possible cryptocurrency in the market and they had issued some crypto ban on other coins like the ICO projects. Aside from that the government is selective in letting people join and invest in a cryptocurrency project based by letting them join after qualifying the requirements needed in able to join like having a huge money income so as to minimize the low income earners to risk their money in the investment of crypto project based.

I would just like to drop this interesting article here, it has some great info about most crypto friendly countries around the world. https://medium.com/%C3%A6ternity-ventures/top-8-crypto-friendly-countries-e6bbf90e8161I think of Canada is the best place as I have read that they accept tax payment in BTC.
This sounds like an extreme crypto adoption, I am happy to hear if its true!

This sounds like an extreme crypto adoption, I am happy to hear if its true! I don't think it is. The only thing i can find about this is that a small town (not canada as a whole) is accepting BTC for PROPERTY taxes. It's also just a test trial, for a year, to see if there's actually any zest for such a payment method. See https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2019/03/29/candadian-town-bitcoin-taxes/Or has there since been any other updates?

Yes, this looks something like a fake fud. Even if it was real it would have been very popular on most of the social media, but I don't see anything about it being true anyways. Or has there since been any other updates?
I don't think so after checking most of the realted updates. Source: https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2019/03/29/candadian-town-bitcoin-taxes/amp/A small town in Canada, just north of Toronto, is joining Ohio in providing its citizens with an option to pay some taxes in cryptocurrency – Bitcoin, to be exact
